Yeah!!! Lantern light is the best light. I have two, gramps's old red one from 1956 & a newer propane one with a 2 piece distribution post for my big tank & Amber globe for high insect areas. Love your videos please keep it up, I will keep watching.

Thanks so much, glad you're enjoying them! Wow, an old lantern from the 50s would be awesome I know my Dad has one laying around somewhere, maybe I can sweet talk him into passing it down to me, haha! Thanks for the tip for the amber globe, I hadn't even thought about that! Thanks again and have a great new year!

There has been a lot of downed trees lately, I removed one on old pacific hwy just south of the cape lookout trailhead when we were over there a lil over a week ago. I even had a oregon state parks ranger thank me for doing it as it was blocking the northbound lane

So many trees!!! There were more than those two but they were easy to move or not blocking the road. Good job on freeing up that northbound lane!
That last storm really did a number on things!

Wow what a beautiful location! (Would you ever share your secret camping spot? hehehe) Glad you were able to make it through those trees. Good Job Jason for giving that tree a go with the ax! You are amazing!

We usually don’t like sharing our spots since we work so hard to find them and want to keep crowds down, but for you maybe. 😉 I’ll message you. Heehee.

Thanks! It actually was only cold at night. In the day the sun came out and warmed everything up nicely!

Oooooh, I LOVE Cape Lookout!! Kudos for removing trees from the roadways! I really hate when people just try to drive around them. They end up making new, unwanted "roads", and eventually the state parks or forest service will just close the road. Can you tell me the model of the chainsaw you have? It looks perfect for me! Also wondering, does Izzy cat not like camping? Or is Izzy a summer camper like me? ; ) Love your vids. So laid back, even when you got stuck in the traffic for hours in your last video. Just taking it all in stride! And Sammie is a true chip connoisseur. You have to make sure everyone can hear you crunch!

Thanks again for the awesome comment :) Glad you're still enjoying our videos. Izzy is definitely more of a summer camper, I don't think she'd really have that much fun in the ice and rain. We may take her on our next trip out to the desert if there is no rain in the forecast. She loves camping as long as she isn't wet, lol! Not sure of the exact model of our chainsaw, we bought it used from Craigslist, but I'm 98% sure its the V60 60-Volt Max Lithium Ion 16-in Cordless Electric Chainsaw. Its perfect for traveling. Thanks again and I can't wait to share our next adventure with you!
