Nice recording. The size of DHA is just huge, which I assume is private (Defence owned and maintained). So, it is a city within a city. On the long run this cannot be good for the country, as the rich have a separate country within a country, but the poor are left out.
When you come from the uk and go to dha islamabad or rawalpindi you have to give your id card at the entrance is it the same in lahore because its massive how would you remember which gate you entered bit silly for visitors or tourists
Looks like half of Lahore is DHA property now. Goes to show how far the Pakistan Army has looted resources from the general public so these guys can live in style in a massively impoverished country. Looks like this is the case in every city in Pakistan. No wonder the country is doing badly.

I was looking at the satellite map of Lahore and more than 50% of the city is owned by DHA. In which country does its defense housing authority own half a city - that too possibly the most important city of that country? Nowhere. You can see the satellite maps for yourself.
You better get your facts right before judging. DHA is a real state and anyone can own property. It's not like civilians pay rent or taxes. It's just real state business belongs to army but end user can be anyone. DHA is main hub of city's state of the art infrastructure & better lifestyle. Btw, I don't belong to army.
They're doing it better than the government, making modern roads, giving the citizens of DHA a proper and modern lifestyle, what about the government sectors of the city? Full of broken roads and outdated infrastructure, army does it way better than government.
