    Just wanted to introduce a new bike I have been building for the past few months. Purchased this shovelhead last summer 2021. It was pretty much stock. I did a full topend rebuild and some other changes to the chopper.
    Cold Start
    Yes Shovelhead is spelled correctly...The font I choose is a little funny with some letters.

    Nice bike, looks like a fun build!
    I noticed your rear master cylinder. Just a bit of advice, the brake line comes close to the exhaust. You might have some trouble with your brake fluid heating up or not cooling down. If you can find a 45° or a 90° strait out of the body so you can guide the line away from the heat you will have better luck.
    Keep up the good work. Shoveleds forever ✌

    • @RustinRoberts
      @RustinRoberts  2 роки тому +7

      Thanks man! I actually have another master on the way here that I will have to fab up another bracket to work. This one is updated and has the banjo style fitting on the end =) My current setup hasn't given me any issues. Even on long rides. The stainless steel braided line with the heat wrapped pipe, all that together seems to be keeping the heat to a minimum luckily.

      These bikes need to be saved for future generations to enjoy. You're not the owner of this machine, you're only a caretaker. Think about that.

      That’s what museums are for. A stock anything is just boring to be and there is a subculture of Harley that needs to be taught also. Cheers 🤘🏾

      @@RustinRoberts I think you've missed the point. Future generations of motorcyclists won't be riding those bikes in museums for the same reason today's generations don't fly aircraft found in museum's. It's not possible. That's why they are in museum's. That is why motorcyclists need to preserve these bikes so others can ride and enjoy them.
      You can fabricate you own frames and engines and transmissions or buy from someone who does and then modify them to your liking. What you're doing is selfish and thoughtless. Have some respect for the sport and other people.
