Where do you get your reference photos?

@@gabriellebrickey I do have a question. I am trying to establish my drawing style but I want to begin with African American characters and plus size. Do you think that is a good start or too much?
@@angelacoleman6789 That's awesome! Yes you can learn and develop your style at the same time. I would say really start experimenting with your shapes and proportions. Play around with that as you learn. Also, perhaps look at other artists who are drawing similar subjects. And see if you can get inspiration and ideas from them. You may also consider doing a daily challenge. Challenging yourself to practice and draw every day will be key to developing fast!
I am horrible compared to you I love your drawings
Why not overlay and drAw the image in much easier way by tracing the outline
Tracing is good for practicing, and I would recommend it for getting used to the proportions, but tracing a picture/piece of art and claiming it as yours isn't a good thing to do. Plus, they were teaching us how to draw using references, so that we dont need to trace every time. Hope this clears it up a little!
