  • My Dad decided to get back into bowhunting this year and start filming his hunts for the channel. We were painting a house with a bunch of persimmon trees, and when they mentioned that they wanted some deer taken out dad was happy to.

Man its awesome that your dad decided to film and bowhunt this season. Dad seems like he does great in front of the camera, hope to see more hunts from him, and of course, Tanner, the main man! I really enjoy this channel, its the most genuine hunting channel on yt.

This is to funny as I have had a great year so far about to tag out I got my dad all fired up and wanting to join me in the woods this year. So I’m going to put him in the sweet spot.. lol.. my dad has taught me everything I know and he has never killed a Ohio deer. I have killed a lot of Ohio deer. I find this crazy as we have lived in Ohio most of my life..

My dad taught me to hunt yet he never had much luck , he never killed anything bigger than 8pt 16 wide & I killed my first buck at 13 and scored 156 5/8 at NC Dixie deer classic and I've killed several other pope & Youngs/ Boone & crockets but my dad just was never able to seal the deal on a big buck , I've set him up on many big bucks and he seems to have the worst luck ... idk but fortunately he's always been proud of me and he never gave up until his health wouldn't allow him to hunt ... but my biggest buck was my first buck at 156 5/8 at 13 yrs old so I've never been able to beat that so it's kinda frustrating to say the least and I've never killed anything over 10 point so that's my goal now is to kill one that's a 11 -12 pointer 😆

Tanner & his dad, it’s truly great to see a father and son hunting together like this! I’ve often wondered if ur dad ever hunted while watching ur vids. This brought back memories of my dad going on some gun hunts with me. My dad passed away 11-30-1997, that will be 25 years ago at the end of this month. My dad never bow hunted and it took years of me hunting before he went with me. He was a workaholic, owned his own business and worked 6 days a week. The first gun hunt he took a big doe. It was doe season and that’s when we thinned out the over population of does by putting on dog drives. It looks like you have a new place to hunt! Thanks again for triggering some of my hunting memories with my dad!
