Takes me back to my childhood days ..Open Fields ..stone walls..Hawthorn hedges for fences..Laying in the Wheat field looking up watching a Airplane go over...didn't see many back then...Wondering where they were going to...and would I ever go in one..but Country life was amazing...Following animal tacks on the snow...
I would says this was made at a guess in about 1984. Lovely to see. Times don't change. I an in SE England too and I like the 80 year old go out into the garden and work there and nothing cheers you more than being in nature. I have given up fighting grey squirrels however as there are vast numbers and every year they eat or destroy 100% of the plums
The English side of my family originates in Balcombe which is where my last name comes from. Truly a beautiful place and I feel such a connection to it.
Have you every found a tapeworm cyst on a squirrel when you've skinned one..like a little bag of fluid on any part of the body..found lots on rabbits..not on hares though we'll all the hares I've skinned I've never found one..
This a time when season's where season..they say you could hunt rabbit every month with a r init.. so wed start September and finish in march..but now the rabbit seem to breed all round..now you can get weather which resembles every month of the year in month.. now the rabbit is so thin on the ground due to this vh disease..you hardly see a dead one on the road
A fitting way to remember Jack.
The English country side is definitely beautiful

Very good.
Sadly owners of Balcombe Estate invited oil drilling / fracking industry onto their estate in 2013, very controversial, huge protests.

Hi from Ireland.god bless these nice descent people.
These days you can't even say you're British or they'll put you in jail!
These days you can't read any UA-cam comment section without some totally out of context moaning about how bad things are.

Hard to skin, but tastier than rabbit....squirrel. Trapped and eaten quite a few. But beware, may contain nuts! Peace be unto you.
