  • For two years I have put my body and mind on the line to answer the question: Why would anyone want to be a pro wrestler?
    The best way I figured to answer that question was simply to step between the ropes and learn what these talented stars go through week in week out. I spoke to a number of the UK's wrestling talent to find out every facet of wrestling life, for better for worse, to better understand who these people are behind the ring and why they'd want to put their bodies in harms way for what many people deem to be a fake sport. From life changing injuries to physical hardships and even abuse, This could not be further from the truth. I present my journey, Ropeburn.

    Great job on this documentary. Really appreciate you being open about your struggle with your body.
    I actually noticed at the beginning in one shot you were looking in the mirror and you touched your chest like it I have done many times and I knew what you were feeling. Thank you for your honesty. I’ve been up and down my whole life. Great work.

      We take everyday as it comes, champion. Times can be difficult, but the way we feel is never forever. I'm working on a new documentary all about living with mental health illnesses, I hope it helps to shed light on our world a bit more. Take care and thank you for your support, it really wasn't easy being so open about things like that. Take care friend.

    Well done doc... I'm only half in but him speaking on gains etc...bro, genetically many men simply cannot bulk up like a Batitsta or Brock or something....and that's where the responsible use of HGH and DECA and Dianabol etc come in...you don't wanna have Eddie Guerrero or Benoits frame and add all that muscle because you'll very likely wind up dead at 37 from an enlarged heart muscle....but to responsibly cycle off and on through a Dr's care would do wonders!!! Don't be a MARK...everyone in WWE is on the gas bro...facts.

      That or be like the greatest worker you've never heard of Your American Standard Adam Fairfax...in that #1 you're so confident and cocky that everyone can see its bullshit! Get a A-FaxSTANDARD NINJA/Personal Assistant and a Puerto Rican TieKwhyDoo instructor, preferably in their 40s and up and a female....so ridiculous you've got a fat slob like Ralphus and you're own Mae Young to both be beat up for you but then but promos like your Trips or Franchise Shane Douglas in ECW '96-'98!
      *edit* oops....I completely forgot....and #2 "American Standard" is an awesome name and sounds like The Franchise or The Dirtiest Player in the Game or even Excellence of Execution however....like Burger King! Burger King! Burger King! Or IRWIN, IRWIN, IRWIN and chants like that while also sounding really cool it's also the largest national manufacturer of "lous" or toilets or if you're in the south Torrlets or Comodes!!!

    I don't understand why it's called wrestling? Once it became throwing people through tables, chair shots, punches, kicks, it's not wrestling, real or fake.

      I suppose you could argue that the stakes are fake, if you wanted look at it that way, maybe even go as far as to say its fixed! But calling it fake isn't fair on the real risk of injury, and the fact that, as another comment read, you can't fake gravity! Thank you so much for watching! You make a really interesting point 😁

    Ppl only get hurt when they don't know what they're doin

    • @tgqfilmmedia976
      @tgqfilmmedia976  2 роки тому +3

      I'd disagree, though I respect your opinion. People get hurt when they don't know what they're doing absolutely. But not exclusively when they don't. History will tell you in the industry plenty of cases where spots have gone as they should've and people have still gotten injured. Its a risky business and at the end of the day when risk of injury is involved there will always be cases where even in proper practice people get hurt, it's just the nature of the beast. I appreciate your comment and than you for watching :)
