- In December 2020, the foundations of the wrestling world were shaken by the abrupt and upsetting passing of AEW's Mr. Brodie Lee.
The outpouring of love from the wrestling community was overwhelming and, to this day, Brodie Lee is honoured and memorialised every week on the AEW television broadcast introductions.
Luke Harper, Brodie Lee, Jon Huber... left behind an indelible legacy and a body of work to be extremely proud of. Coming to AEW, Jon Huber was able to prove to the outsiders that he is a main event caliber talent, and proved to himself that betting on himself was the right call.
This video showcases the journey of Mr. Brodie Lee in AEW and the footprint he left behind following his passing.
Whilst Brodie Lee's body of work included skits and videos posted on Being the Elite; these are not included in this video. I chose to only include footage from AEW broadcasts. I hope that's okay.

It still feels genuinely unreal that both Brodie and Bray are gone. I just keep getting the same gutwrenching feeling when I remember they're gone because it's hard to imagine wrestling without them around.

I laugh when people say AEW needs to get rid of The Dark Order. The Dark Order will always be around because of Brodie Lee. And plus, The Dark Order has a long term storyline going on when Brodie Lee Jr. grows up and follows his father's footsteps to be a pro wrestler and becomes The Exalted Son and take his father's place of The Dark Order as The Exalted One of the group. It's already a storyline waiting to be told.
I will be happily waiting for that day when it arrives.
The ending of the Inner Circle vs Dark Order with Hangman Page during the celebration of life, and Excalibur choking up when trying to call John Silver hitting the discus lariat… man, oh man 😭
The tribute show for Brodie was just perfect. Seeing John Silver break down after getting the pin was absolutely heartbreaking. How sad that two members of the Wyatt family are now gone.

I discovered you with your first video on CM Punk and it sucks to say that it seems UA-cam has a hard time telling me when you upload new videos, even if I've been subscribed since the start. I think you should do a doc on Ric Flair and how he just never wants to stop. It's like he's addicted to wrestling and can't live without being in the ring. There's a lot of footage you could use, plenty of great promos where he actually talks about this. I think you have the ability to make it both inspiring and sad at the same time and make the whole thing respectful and fun to watch too. I remember back in WCW, in the late 90's, I thought he was going to retire for real lol.
