Remote Shutter Autofocus Fix for Panasonic Lumix Cameras

- The autofocus on the Panasonic Lumix cameras is famously.. well, not great. Panasonic Lumix GH5, G9, G85, G7 all suffer from the same problem. But this remote shutter offers a handy workaround for self shooting with AF.
Is these a link for the remote shutter?
Helped me so much! Thanks for this!
Can you set it to go off at a certain time? I won’t be in camera, I need it to shoot at a certain time when I’m not hands on
Just got mine, works a treat!
Can I press the button to make it focus on another area, while I'm still in the shot? I want to do a rack focus with a remote.
What is the name of the remote shutter ??
Nice video, can you add the link of the product to the video, or forward to me please. I just purchased one in Amazon it doesn’t work.
Thanks
Great video, question if I want to used the flash 📸 can still used the flash and the remote ?
When I try I am unable to do so, due to the locking ring at the bottom of the receiver (cold shoe/tripod lug) being attached to the hood of the cameras flash. It prevents it from coming up which is necessary in order to utilize the cameras flash. You may want to invest in a hot shoe mount and mini light source to get the effect. Hopes this made sense 💕
THANK YOU can it work with S1R?
Super handy!! Thanks for the video! Gonna pick one up now
Brilliant!
Thank you!
i have G9 & in video i find AFF is better than AFS
I find interesting how almost every AF footage I see is worse than what my G90 generally does. But yeah, this is a must if you're alone and want to look professional.
Sounds like you have the secret sauce settings 😃
@@mouseykins01 Nah, the usual. -2 or -3 "Locked on" and -3 "slow".
Which frame rate do you shoot at? I find the lower the frame rate the worse the AF
@@mouseykins01 30. I know you said 24, but I didn't notice much difference there. Will have to re-test.
They intentionally show the worst footage to highlight the issue. My S5 is the same way. Outstanding autofocus with a couple downsides, but 90% of the time works perfectly as advertised, but the internet and nearly every UA-cam video will make you believe you're better manually focusing rather than use it, which is just plain stupid and wrong.
Can't you just the app instead?
Yep sure can. That’s another good way to do it. Just a bit more long winded.
@@mouseykins01 Good point :)
I'm finding the wifi drains the camera's battery.
Thank you!!
