this is awesome. this is what i need... a double din touchscreen wihtout a cd/dvd drive... saves space lol. i just wish it had apple carplay
I really want to upgrade from the pionner fh-p5000mp to the pionner mvh-av290bt they both used the same wireing? (let say if a buy it I only need to disconnect the old one and connect the new)
Is there a model similar to this that isn't too much more expensive that would have voice commands for true hands free control and calling?

Should work! Does your flip down have an fm modulator? That's probably be easier

Maybe try formatting your drive or trying a different type of audio file! Also works with WMA, AAC and WAV

To watch videos you need
1 - green wire on the body of the device itself
2 - to format the flash drive in fat32, or simply to FAT with the smallest cluster size
it needs to be done so that when reading the video there are no delays and no brakes
3 - reads without problems AVI format, the maximum number of frames per second is 30, the maximum resolution is 720 by 480, the best resolution for filling the entire screen is 720 by 406 or 640 by 360, for the clips it's the most !!! (it's unforgettable that it's necessary to transcode the clip into AVI format)
4 - for watching movies, we simply download from the torrent or from where either a movie in AVI format with sizes up to 2 gigabytes, and do not re-encode anything! the device immediately picks up them, and the resolution and quality of the video in the movies with these characteristics for this screen is more than enough
so it is possible to play from 125Gb SD card with what i recive or i need to buy special cabals etc?

@@Qualitymobilevideo I see. Can i ask you something else. This device is missing option in settings for Wheel control. There is no option for that. Can i update or add somehow this option to that device? I want to try with alliexpress seperate wheel's buttons and from the video of it, i need that option to "teach" the buttons.
Which is the jack for the backup camera? You mention Backup camera at 2:23 but I'm not sure which jack is for it? I'm looking to install a backup camera in my car but I also need to replace my car's factory radio first
At the 2:20 mark, the brown port is the backup camera port.

No GPS and no video input so you can't mirror to play UA-cam on it

Now just add gps and I would buy. Willing to spend a bit more for it but I just don't need all the bells and whistle that come with the more expensive models
so what are you paying for no SD card so you have to have a Bluetooth iPad or your phone to play your music no Sat Nav £159 for a radio and Bluetooth system the system is a waste of money

I really dislike the favor tward apple that car audio mfg have. I mean on these entry level double dins,the buyers are more likely broke people with android than fancy iphones
