I will share this; tarot reading is also known as divination and it expressed in the Bible as being forbidden. Leviticus 19:26: "Do not practice divination or seek omens". Though you, yourselves was not practicing, you may want to think about not promoting it by getting readings. There are other verses; Exodus 22:18, Acts 16, you can read. Divination is the practice of using occult practices to foretell or pretend to foretell the future. Sometimes we don't know what we don't know, so I just feel compelled in helping you understand that there are things we should not make contact with.
I used to be "spiritual" but didn't even really know what that meant. I have since found the Lord and I cringe every time I hear anyone talk about tarot readings, having crystals or even doing yoga. You are correct on the above and glad you said something. I wish someone had told me sooner that that stuff is not good.
@@MarMarFinds Yoga is a combination of breathing and exercise that is proven to help calm the nervous system and improve strength, flexibility, and general physical mobility. For some people, it's also a spiritual practice. There are many valid spiritual practices and faiths around the world in addition to Christianity. Yoga itself, for many people, has 0 spiritual components. I simply just do it to stretch and breathe in a certain way to stretch my muscles on a daily basis in ways that walking or my strength training practice cannot achieve. It's perfectly safe, normal, and physically healing because it helps so much with joint mobility and muscle relaxation/ stabilizing.
