Saw Ronnie last night in Adamsville, Tn. . Wow what a talent ! Lays this new country in the shade . A no. 1 entertainer . Still does a show with the audience involved , just the tops !
I'm 35 and I still have a Crazy Crush on him LOL. My first concert was his concert. I just turned 13 and I was able to get the 2nd hug from him. Definitely a memory of a life time for me.
I love this song. I saw him sing it live to Louise Smith. Elvis's aunt. Her and Ronnie had a great friendship. I recorded him singing this song and I just love it. Hearing it live is so touching. I didn't buy the CD because I had already bought a lot from his table before the concert. I got his gospel, tribute to Conway Twitty and Elvis and a free album. Bought 3 of his Elvis prints from his paintings. Got two pictures autographed. I had my 1977 The King Is Gone album and my 45 for his to sign. If you haven't been to one of his concerts then go. It's worth it. He's so much fun and just down to earth. He's fun to talk to. The sweetest thing was he kissed my hand after me telling him my story of his song The King Is Gone. It's so easy being around him. I met his son and he's really nice to. Everyone was so nice and just down to earth. I had a great time. Wonderful song. He said he has a new song coming out something to do with politics which he doesn't care for but doing it for a friend. Looking forward to that.

It's commercial, it has a great arrangement, and Ronnie McDowell is in fine voice. I don't like the song structures of most contemporary country songs, nor do I like the instrumentation used, or the often trite lyrical content. This song, however, is excellent, and I look forward to Ronnie McDowell's upcoming album.

Sadly she past away in May of 2021 which still hurts me to this day. But I strongly believe she made Heaven her forever home and I will soon see her again when my time comes.
