It still amazes me that most of the same people who made the metroid prime trilogy made this DK game and tropical freeze, retro studios are built so different

Headcannon: the reason DK doesn’t get hypnotized is that in the next DKC game we will see DK go back in time and become his own grandfather, preventing him from having the delta brainwave.

This is already looking like an entertaining playthrough. This game is definitely pretty brutal! The normal levels can be tricky, but the K levels are arguably the hardest levels in the whole Donkey Kong series!
And, yes, I agree. We now have 3D Kirby, but where is the next 3D Donkey Kong game? 🤔
Okay so for the list of active characters, I wouldn’t put Wario as the least active because in Wario Land 4 Wario has exercising with a jump rope, individual hand weights, and using a giant dumbbell as idle animations, so he’s at least an impressive lifter.
I can't see anyone being in the mario universe being in the F tier for activities except for the common toads (especially the sleeping toads in mario galaxy)

This game is one of my favorites, the visuals are so appealing, the music is great, and it's so challenging. Loved playing it as a kid.

One of my childhood games I had the computer help me get through but then I replayed it and beat the game without it and it’s pretty easy now same with tropical freeze I love both games so much, fun, challenging and creative.
The DS version of this game was my introduction to the Donkey Kong Country games and I quite liked it. I love the tiki mask enemies and the boss fights in this game are really fun (I vividly remember the crab-stack, the worm boss with the circular things to climb and the Chicken Robot).
This was my first game on the wii, the nostalgia is real
DK64 had some incredible boss fights. Mad jack might be one of my favorite bosses in all of gaming.

I remember that beach too. It was this browser game that didn't have much in the way of story or indeed gameplay. I wanna say it was an IP, but it might have been generic, too. Now that'll keep me up tonight, I just know it.

I’ve actually almost 100% completed this gem of a game! Just 4 levels (6-k, 7-k, 8-k and the golden temple)
Also here’s a list of the amount of hits each boss can take:
Muggly: 9 (3 each phase)
The utensil crab pirates: 12 (6 each phase, 4 per crab)
The rooster(?????): 6 iirc
Mole Miner: 4 (dont remember how many hits the first 3 sets of moles can take)
Mangoruby: 3
Thugly: 9 (3 per phase)
Colonel pluck: 6 (3 per phase, i hate this boss so much)
Tiki tong: 7 I think? (2 per hand, 3 for the head)
I actually beat Tiki Tong with Diddy alone just to see the Diddy-alone ending cutscene.
I really hope this becomes one of the completed series I wanna see yall finsh this game or tropical freeze 🙏

I've done many 100% playthroughs of this game and it is absolutely BRUTAL. Esspecially the final world and the secret stages. And i'm not talking about the levels with locks on them.

If you guys was serious about the athleticism of the Mario cast, then we do have official proof. That is depending on your context of athleticism: do you mean their fitness, or their prowess capability, or how active they are, or gymnastics?
If you mean fitness then the top three are:
Mario, Wario, and Donkey Kong.
Luigi maybe last since it is stated that Luigi is a homebody, while Waluigi passtime is dancing. One of Mario's theme's is "Athletic" which is a modern rendition of an old Ragtime phrase. Wario establishes businesses on the side and fund them by spelunking. Donkey Kong officially just chills out. He sits around and eat bananas and play video games.
But if you mean prowess capability then:
Donkey Kong, Bowser, Mario, Luigi, Wario and Waluigi.
There are few in the lore of Nintendo myth that can rival Doneky Kong on sheer power. Bowser's might has been recorded to overpower Mario, and Mario is at least mentioned in at least two games of being VERY strong, Luigi most likely lives up to his name and is a "great fighter", but his homebody nature and confidence problems keep him away from the action. Officially Nintendo has shown that most of the reason Luigi isn't with Mario is because he just don't know-- he's at the house chilling. Wario lifts hardcore, but a lot of his strength is a parody of Mario and looking at Wario feats it hones in on how crazy Mario actually is. Waluigi has no records of actually fighting ability (unless you count the Tennis games); this maybe because Waluigi is still fully owned by Camelot and not Nintendo, so Nintendo just excludes him from nearly all adventures unless Camelot is working on the game.

Mario, Wairo, Bowser [*], Waluigi, Luigi, Donkey Kong [*].
Again one of Mario's recurring themes is named "Athletic". Mario is a "Plumber". "Plumbers" in Nintendo lore are akin to Super Heroes. Mario's job is to go around the Mushroom Kingdom as a possible envoy or consultant of Peach. That what Mario 3 was about and that's a revision of Mario 1 and Lost Levels. Wario is a Spelunker. Bowser only trains when he loses a match to Mario, or when he wants to invade Peach. Luigi is a homebody. Donkey Kong lounges about until there's a problem in his domain.
If you mean Gymnastics:
Luigi, Mario, Bowser/ Donkey Kong, Wario/Waluigi.
The Mario Brothers are known for their gymnastics but Luigi is by lore more so than his brother. Bowser is by lore way more nimble than his frame shows, but Donkey is quicker to weaponize his swiftness. Wario isn't shown to be very gymnastic and Waluigi (as stated above) isn't allowed due to legal fears.

For diddy to get on dk there’s some button that does it but I don’t remember which button it is, but it’s a thing
Just to fuel the competition, every 20 bananas collected (individually) they earn 1 point, each banana coin is worth 1 point (DK roll for the end barrel can count as many points as coins are gotten so high risk for waiting for it to maximize the reward) every 4 boss hits equal 1 point. Let's see the final score and see who's the better Donkey Kong gamer
Also you both can combine into 1 unit by getting Diddy on DK's back, combining their health into a total of 4 (which is shared) they can use the jetpack, roll indefinitely which gives you invulnerability against regular enemies and damages them which encourages teamwork and trust. Take it as you will and I recommend buying heart canisters so you won't go through balloons as much
These 2 buddies playin together is exactly how DK and Diddy think lol.
Donkey Kong 64 is a flawed game but its still pretty rad. The sheer ambition of it gets some points from me even if I don't love every second of it.
