This game legit feels like the game we've never gotten for Sega Saturn, with its presentation, the artstyle, and the soundtrack, it everything i could've ask for in a game of Sonic for the Saturn. And this video really proves how fitting this game could've been for the 90s. Amazing work!
Can't believe you mastered the Bonus Stage controls due to how slippery they are. On a real note tho, it feels much better to watch the demo like this. I hopethey eventually add a 4:3 screen option like Sonic.EXE: One More Time.
I discovered your channel no more than a week ago, I instantly subscribed, I love this slightly old atmosphere, I usually love falling asleep to videos with old advertisements or old cartoons, it relaxes me a lot, and seeing that my favorite game Sonic has this kind of atmosphere present in your videos, well I might as well tell you that it's been a week that in the evening I put on your videos that I watch to relax and fall asleep, you do a great job, I know that this kind of video is quite niche and it's incredible that you continue to do what you do! good luck to you, a French fan! 💪
This fangame feels like a peek into a different timeline where the Saturn still exists, but Sega/Sonic Team don't dip Sonic (mainline) in 3D waters just yet. They take the Mega Man route of staying 2D for the time being and Sonic R and Sonic World in Jam are a sign of things to come in the future.
Don't know why Fang's doing in Sonic's gangs, but his movesets are quite interesting and very well made! And there are so many cameos in that last part, and can't wait to see the whole gameplay of this!
In an alternate universe, the Sega Saturn proceeded to have several other Sonic games in the works, and the Sega Saturn ended up being the most beloved retro console.
@LowPoly32 i guess a good solution would be integer scaling, like in the sonic cd 2011 steam version where you can just edit a file and it goes to whatever screen wideness you want, either that or you open up obs and figure out a way to crop the game window and view it there while you play, which would cut off the hud but oh well. I specially look for 4:3 in sonic fangames because i got a crt monitor and its so enjoyable to play them on it
You can use ReShade to get some pretty okay VHS filters, although there aren’t many of them out there. That’s what I used in my older videos actually! But as far as I’m aware, there isn’t anything that’s quite as accurate as programs like ntsc-rs unfortunately. I hope we get something someday!

7:29 it’s not too hard. You gotta ignore what physics you think it should have

This looks like a really fun fangame, can't wait to play it when I get home
This is such a beautiful fan game

cutscenes and certain animations are definitely inspired from sonic mania, so thats cool :3
This is the true sonic mania 2. Even feels like a sequel to superstars
Tunnel has left such a good first impression on me, that I actually wish he was canon.
Finally.... Sonic 4 Saturn
I love your asthetics!
hope they add a 4:3 mode for an even more authentic look.
This looks so official
You make it nostalgic
Damn! This is awesome!!
I wish we could be friends 😭 You’re so incredible.
Thank you!
Thank you very much!
i do wish they added 4:3 support, its the ratio of classic sonic after all. Regardless this game is awesome
Same yeah, I’d love to see it! I think more fan games should support it in general

Sega need to check this and make a official game
So is it possible to make games you play have this VHS filter on? Like Live? Ive always wanted to do that for all my games

@ Im hoping so too!! Regardless, I am so happy and proud to be apart of your community 😭🤩
Can you make Sonic Overture '95 (2023) VHS?
I’ll look into that one!
How did you get the game to be at 4:3
I edited it to look that way myself by just cropping the footage! It would be cool if they added actual support for 4:3 some day
@ i hope
Good video 😊
