Sure all their previous songs don't sound the same but the thing they all had in common was that they all had the Loona sound, ranging from the light-hearted pop ballads from 1/3 to the more rnb/dreampop Odd Eye Circle to even Butterfly's chill sound. I think what all the previous songs had in common was that they either had orchestral instruments or rnb/high-energy high pitched synths unlike this song which has siren synths and a heavy brass bass beat which is very not Loona.

Of course, they want to promote their artists as much as they can, but for smaller groups like Loona, it’s not as easy to get time for full performances of just a title track, let alone a bside. And BBC has a low amount of employees, so promoting is harder. Since they are a smaller group, they may focus more on title tracks.

some orbits may not know this : some of the members cried during meet&up because they promised a summer cb but it never happened, they thought they had disappointed us. From what I've heard So What isn't to my tastes too it sounds very mainstream to me atleast, not that that in itself is a bad thing, the song is still a BOP and just think how many new fans are going to be introduced to LOONA with So What. But this album doesn't take away from LOONA in any way and all the other songs sound amazing! They still have all their old amazing songs and some new ones too 💛 overall this new album sounds incredible and I'm GLAD THEY'RE BACK! Number 1 sounds so cute. I love how powerful So What is. I love how funky Oh (Yes I Am) is with the backing track! I can't wait to see the video and choreo for So What cus you know they are gonna kill it! And all the girls are singing so beautifully!
IKR when i heard the spoiler from the Mcountdown thingy i was a little disappointed if im being completely honest. i told myself that that was barely 10 seconds of a whole song, and i shouldnt be so quick to judge...and then i heard this and i have literal chills. so, lesson learned: loona never fails to disappoint, stan loona.

I assum that there will be different versions of So What. The one with Haseul that could also be the version they’ll use in the album, and the one w/o Haseul the one that they will use for promotions.
I kinda like how the "so what" text at the end is in white and red which i personally feel showcases the vibe of the songs in this album. Red is more intense and really suits the first two tracks, # and So What. 365 is clearly a soft song, emotional and pure and rightfully matches white, and i think Number 1, Oh (Yes I Am) and 땡땡땡 have a nice blend of both red and white colours (In my opinion,365 and Oh both have a bit of gold colours too, there's something sparkly about those two songs). This is definitely gonna be a fun album and I'm personally excited for tracks 3 and 5

i might support loona at this point, fr, and anyone notices that the track after title is like fit for a title track for each subunit in order? like i love yyxy's love4eva and 땡땡땡 might be my fave in this album, and Number 1 sounds like 1/3's same goes oec for oh (yes i am) like legit... i appreciate butterfly but many seems to think the opposite and now they're doing so-called mainstream girl crush and everyone's chirping? (yeah i see u birdie the hater, but thnx for the view).. loona is not a failed project, yeah they bumped it when butterfly is not a success, but glad the company is not giving up on them and are even took a risk after quite a long hiatus for a rookie! some orbits may not know this : some of the members cried during meet&up because they promised a summer cb but it never happened, they thought they had disappointed us. What i want to say is start being grateful. I'm not saying that it's illegal to dislike the title track but at least try to keep that to urself or talk to ur friends abt that. don't let the girls see that. they've worked so hard for this cb. they can't fulfill each of yalls expectation because people have different taste in music. I remember that SOME orbits complained abt hi high being too cute, girly. SOME orbits also think butterfly is too weird because of the high pitched voice, and come to think of it again, butterfly got so many praises because of the diversity showed in the mv and also the beautiful choreography, if it weren't for that i'm p sure some of orbits will shit on butterfly too. we're lucky that loona is still coming back despite what had happened to them. so please, once the song is out, whether you like it or not, stream as much as you can.

Some people said that they are disappointed with SO WHAT cause it is different from their previous songs but SERIOUSLY?! They have three subunits with different concepts. Is it really that surprising?!

The whole point of LOONA is that we are supposed to do a different genre every single time, that’s been evident since Around You is a total 180 from Vivid, and both of them could never be more different than I’ll Be There.

From what I've heard So What isn't to my tastes too it sounds very mainstream to me atleast, not that that in itself is a bad thing, the song is still a BOP and just think how many new fans are going to be introduced to LOONA with So What. But this album doesn't take away from LOONA in any way and all the other songs sound amazing! They still have all their old amazing songs and some new ones too 💛 overall this new album sounds incredible and I'm GLAD THEY'RE BACK! Number 1 sounds so cute. I love how powerful So What is. I love how funky Oh (Yes I Am) is with the backing track! I can't wait to see the video and choreo for So What cus you know they are gonna kill it! And all the girls are singing so beautifully!

I kinda like how the "so what" text at the end is in white and red which i personally feel showcases the vibe of the songs in this album. Red is more intense and really suits the first two tracks, # and So What. 365 is clearly a soft song, emotional and pure and rightfully matches white, and i think Number 1, Oh (Yes I Am) and 땡땡땡 have a nice blend of both red and white colours (In my opinion,365 and Oh both have a bit of gold colours too, there's something sparkly about those two songs). This is definitely gonna be a fun album and I'm personally excited for tracks 3 and 5

Let me lay something out for the people who are upset about the title track. LOOΠΔ has released well over 60 songs. That’s more than a lot of groups who have been active for years. Are you really that shocked that they are doing ONE mainstream sounding song? REALLY?

For me most loona's songs are mainstrean, in sense it's not totally new but all of it are great quality, the best for girlgroup, aka good mainstream. Dalla dalla 2.0, that's bad mainstream. It's understandable that loona don't have privilege of red velvet, can release anu high quality songs without having to care about public taste thanks to their SM branding, but at least rather than copying dalla dalla, why can't they do interesting public friendly songs?

@@noneexe but does it worth it though? Nugu groups tried following latest trends to become relevant. Some nugus succeed but most don't. If both are gamble, why pick the worse direction and sacrificing a lot of people who genuinely like loona for the music and release shit instead?

@@mayaram.8437 Wow, thanks! I know a little bit, like I know their names and the who's in what unit, and I know they have a lore thing, but I'm not super into that. I think it's cool but stuff like that isn't really for me. But I'll certainly give their music and MVs a good listen/look. I know I really like Chuu's voice and Choerry really caught my eye in the Butterfly choreo. Maybe because if her hair, but I like her a lot. Thanks again!
