Hello Andy and "Babe", I wanted to say thank you for all your wonderful videos that are made with so much enthusiasm, fun, skill and profound knowledge and best of all - no crazy background music, special effects or whatever acrobatic. The star of your show is always the food. I've been cooking and baking for all of my life which is more than half a century and yet, you teach me new things, new dishes and I so LOVE what you are doing. You apologised for whatever you might do wrong with international dishes - there is no right or wrong, Andy. Of course, there's very often an original recipe by more or less well-known chefs but many dishes are traditionals. Every family cooks or bakes the dish and every cooks "modifies" the recipe according to family tastes and very often according to the market, to prices, to what is available. The very same dish often varies in different regions, too. I think that's what makes cooking so interesting - you go look what's in the fridge, in the larder, in the pantry, what's grown in your garden and you have an idea what you want to cook. I learnt cooking from "helping" mum and grandma. There were no written recipes or measured stuff. It was always a pinch of this, a handful of that. Mum let me taste and asked me what I thought was missing or what I thought would go just fine with it. Later I bought a ton of cookbooks for inspiration. I often read them at nights 😂just for the beautiful fotos and the fun of it. Today, most families do not cook together for lack of time which is a very sad thing. Kids don't learn from spending time in the kitchen. Sad thing, indeed, they miss out on a lot of fun. Your videos may very well help to make people cook together, try new things, let kids help or help kids showing them how they can cook a surprise meal for their family. This is so much more than "just a UA-cam cannel". It gets people interested in the products, teaches the basics as well as the more advanced skills, it's also about what equipment to use and how to look after it to keep it in good condition... so much information and so nicely presented. 👍 Best wishes for the team, you are doing a great job. I'm in a sickbed, have been for 3 years and there's not much of a chance to get out of it so your videos "spice up" my long hours that need filling with a bit of fun.
