Ingredients
For making 4 buns
warm milk. 1/2 cup 125 ml
sugar. 2 table spoon
yeast. 1.25 teaspoon
ghee. 1 tablespoon
all purpose
flour/Maida. 1 cup

2 questions
1. can I use yogurt instead of yeast and milk .
2. shouldnt you pour water a little in the idli pot. without the water the vessal will get damaged.

Akka.. I made the buns.. Everything came fine except the Browning.. Top was still white color even after 20 min. What shall i do for Browning Akka?
I heated an iron kadai..placed two stands inside then placed a greased idli plate ( it has holes). Kept the dough on it and closed with a plate. Kept a weight on top of the plate too. Where did i make the mistake akka
