Hi Mikeno, I can’t find enough words to thank you for this video. Now I know how to proceed and as soon as I have the tools I’ll try to solve the problem. Thanks again for your help!! Best regards.
Wooaooo what an operation. It s quite a stupid way from Zeiss/Yaschica to build a lens this way with the aluminium collar to stick the second element. Thx anyway for your trick.
Thanks for this update, really enjoy your videos. I have a 50mm F1.7 AEJ with haze on the rear most element. Can I simply remove the rear lock ring to remove the rear most element? Will that require recalibration when putting it back together? Thank you.
Is so rare i open a lens and find no evidence of other people inside, scuffed or missing screws ,fingerprints , cleaning marks, missing parts, Most of them described as near mint and other vague vernacular, often the spares or repairs department has less signs of interference , apart from the front element of course, that someone has scrubbed with something they found in the road by the look of it. One lens i have has chips like that all the around the edge, it rattled when i first got it, a small 75mm dallmeyer, projector maybe, made a mount to go between it and a helicoid to sony. Its not amazing but looks interesting.
