The US one contains Hydroquinone. It's listed as Hydroxyphenol. Hydroxyphenol=Hydroquinone. When in doubt, read/research the ingredients list on their website/google. Their Paris website caters to those who live in Europe & will not ship to US/Canada while the US website caters to US/Canada b/c ingredients allowed for each continent are different. Hence, all Fair & White products have both European & US versions. I use both versions & i buy the EU version whenever i'm in Europe. I prefer a mix of both versions.
