Nice car, always my favorite generation of the 911.
You are correct with the price of 911’s and is my irritation of this hobby. The 911 has always been my favorite car since my youth but prices and cost of ownership have always kept me away. I would love to be apart of that club but honestly it doesn’t make sense.
Maybe someday prices will come back to earth, but it’s hard to pay $35-50 for a 30yo car with 80-90k miles when there are so many other brands that are out there.

Very true. We're in a pickle with the skyrocketing prices of cool cars. I think the air cooled Porsche market is healthy because the parts supply is still in production and the car can still be rebuilt. There's still some excellent cars that people still haven't discovered, but it's dwindling. My old C4 Vette convertible was almost the price of my Porsche but that car today may hit $10K on a good day for a nice one.

These engines are known for breaking head studs, it had nothing to do with the AC pump failing. I used to work in a Porsche shop and occasionally we would get them in where we had to drill them out and it was a pain because of the material they're made from.
