FRAN as machinist /red or white mage - BASCH pole for sure /kats and spear - or pole/time/red (low vit = debuffs hit way more often)
ASHE warmage, or for advanced players - machinist/red/whitemage/uhlan - PENELO MAGE or Bow/red, Vaan everything but daggers, ninja sword, axes.

I am about to start another playthrough of this game. I’m going to make Vaan a machinist/foebreaker. It seems like a fun combo. I really like both guns and hand bombs.

I’m trying out Shikari/Machinist on Vaan. I think it is better to start as a Shikari. Machinist isn’t a very good starting job for Vaan in my opinion. Maybe it is good to start as in weak mode, but that isn’t my cup of tea.
