Thanks for putting together another great video, Ryan! Just to clarify, the 9400NT is available in 7.5" and 10" spacing. Viewers can find more information about this seed drill at: www.kuhn-usa.com/crop/seeders/mechanical-seed-drills/9400-series.
Kuhn North America you know... to show how good a company you are you should donate a new set of implements to the farmers in Ryan’s area who lost everything to the tornado 🤷🏼♂️
Nice, best of luck to you all. Stay safe and well. Regards from south Sweden where the spring wheats are sprouting out of the ground and the winter oil seed are half way to set flowers.
Oooo!!! Nice upgrade to the farm. I take it, you'll keep the old drill for memories proposes. In other words, to show how farming was done back in the day. Nice video Ryan.....
I bet you can't wait to get that massive drill working on seeding down your new hay ground and waterways. It was fun watching you edit part of this video last night as well. Kuhn makes some great products, and it'll be nice to see them featured on your channel.
Ahhhhh the smell of new paint! That is one heck of a drill. I am partial to Great Plains but Kuhn makes good equipment and that one appears to have all the bells and whistles. I like the tandem wheels at the opener. Give it a good tryout and keep us posted.
Congratulations with your demo equipment from Kuhn, looking forward to hearing about your experience. Be careful and safe. God bless you and your family.
They should do an online auction for the drill after Demo. It's great to see smart manufacturers spend there marketing funds. with great channels like yours. They need to give you a discount code so they can track unit sales. After 10 units, it's yours. 10% referral fee.
Kuhn make some of the best (heavy make) equipment on the market. Used to go out demo power Harrows, ploughs and drills for kuhn through our newholland dealership. Would like to add that being a mechanic I never had to repair many due to machine fault only accidental failures due to operator hitting something hard 😁.
Hi Mate...🇦🇺 Congrats on the new demo Kuhn planter... You will not be disappointed, these guy's really make top quality Ag products... Ask them to give you a demo on the Dominator..😁
it's amazing what all the modern day implements can do with all the modern day technology attached to it next thing you know it will all be fully automated so all you have to do is add your seed,.. head into the cab and enter in the depth & other settings and it will automatically adjust it's self so all you have do do is drive
Holy Moly- It's an awesome machine indeed- can't wait to see video of this sleek machine in action. Time to get planting lol-- Thanks for the video- great as always :)
not sure what your plans are but would be neat to try a field of soybeans no til vrs conventential tillage and planting with the row planter? yield comparison etc etc..... as an expirement ? but its your farm, your crops. Will be neat to see the video regardless! And I love watching your videos! Please keep them coming!
It's always exciting to try out new equipment to get the job done. The nice thing about the drill it is equipped to do the best job possible as far as seed placement and creating the best environment possible for that seed. Sure would love to see the drill in action. What is the selling price of a beauty like that Kuhn?
Hey Ryan you're doing a really good job on your videos keeping my aren't you worried about all the stuff with the farmers with the covid-19 able to sell all your corn and beans good luck on this farming season. David from Las Vegas. :-):-):-):-):-):-)
I understand this is a No-Till Drill but does that EXCLUDE it from use on a fully worked up seed bed? Would you use this or the old Deere on a conventional till field if you had one to seed? sdh
I was wondering what this weighed? Went to the link provided and under SPECs all spaces are blank. Any info Ryan? Nice piece of useful equipment on the farm this Spring.
This unit, with 7.5" row spacing, weighs 9,955 lbs. Not sure which browser you're using to access the product page, but the specs should be appearing completely.
A seed drill is basically a controlled spill of seed, usually in narrow rows for small seed types. A planter has a mechanism to singulate and space out the seed placement, usually for wider rows and larger seed types.
If your 4020 can pull a six row cultivar on your hills, it should easily pull that ten foot drill. Besides it will turn better on the headlands than the 7600.

Kuhn North America now you guys need to demo them a EXCELERATOR!!
And 15 inch spacing if you close every other chute. Correct?
Kuhn North America you know... to show how good a company you are you should donate a new set of implements to the farmers in Ryan’s area who lost everything to the tornado 🤷🏼♂️
Pretty cool you get a response from the manufacturer!
did kuhn aquire krause because i have a krause pro series to-till drill with the same planting and closing wheel setup that work really well.
thanks for your help to unload the great piece of machinery, it was a pleasure working with you and keep up the great videos
Thanks for bringing it down Randy! Hope to see you back soon!
Wow! You have to love your Kuhn relationship. Well done to all and have fun with that one!

ian haggart idk bout tillage but there hay equipment blows
@@jeremyfreeman717 I think the gyros were made by another company. Can't remember who. Jf stoll?
O. Balers had a lot of electrical problems too. Never used there tillage implements
@@jeremyfreeman717 mchale for balers or new holland but it is all to personal choice and farm type.
ian haggart correct. Deere made excellent round balers.
You guys just keep marching forward; it's great!
Soon as I saw the video I hit the like button, Great video Ryan can’t wait to see her in the field! 🌽🚜🐂
Holy Cow! Nice No -Till seed drill. Can't wait to see it in the field.
Wow never seen a seed drill from Kuhn before but looks like a nice piece of equipment
Kuhn makes great equipment. Thanks
Very nice. We have one mounted on a 13 ft rotatiller. Very accurate machine.
Nothing is better than the mighty JD 750 , thr real no till drill
Well built that's for sure. The Multi seed option is great as well.
Hi Mate...🇦🇺
Congrats on the new demo Kuhn planter... You will not be disappointed, these guy's really make top quality Ag products... Ask them to give you a demo on the Dominator..😁
Great awesome video Ryan , love the new no till seeder
You have to plant a few beans with it. Once I started planting beans on 7.5 id hate to switch back.
Congrats guys! That's a beauty!! I can only afford a Pneumatic Four Row Seeder...saludos from Mexico
Very nice, good job 👍
Fantastic, can it cut trough cover-crops as well?
Another great vid!
Would you be able to turn to the right hard with the 4640 and keep the duals out of the drive wheel on the drill?
it's amazing what all the modern day implements can do with all the modern day technology attached to it next thing you know it will all be fully automated so all you have to do is add your seed,.. head into the cab and enter in the depth & other settings and it will automatically adjust it's self so all you have do do is drive
Wow. Impressive unit.
Cool love to see a video. Your brother said to wait after the rain or snow. Keep it dry. May you have a good hay season!
That's a nice drill! I'm looking forward to see it in action👍
Very nice Ryan!!!
That sill looks cool
Holy Moly- It's an awesome machine indeed- can't wait to see video of this sleek machine in action. Time to get planting lol-- Thanks for the video- great as always :)
Will you drill any beans with this, or just alfalfa?
Should at least do a "test plot" of beans. Would be interesting to see the breakdowns between conventional row planting and drilling them.
What is the serial number on the unit is it a #1 like you had on the spreader you did a demo on?
Show and tell! I love it. it's good stuff! Thank you for sharing.
Great video Ryan
Hey Ryan!! Hey Rocket!! Hey Travis!!
Hi Ryan. Would you consider using the drill for soybeans since the row spacing can be changed. Thanks for all the hard work and excellent videos.
Good machine so nice
will you use that for beans?

What advice would u have for somebody that’s young wanting to start row crop farming we run a few cows so I have ag experience
Securing land to run is going to be the biggest challenge
How Farms Work yeah I’m close to the ms delta about 15 miles and I have friends that farm and somebody that offered to mentor me
@@MaplesFamilyFarmsMS don't borrow beyond your means :)
Rock Brigade that’s right
@@MaplesFamilyFarmsMS Local mentor is awesome for your area and growing conditions
Awesome 👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for the vid Ryan..

Pretty cool you can switch between 15 and 7.5 inch spacing
did you buy it?
This is a demo!
Is that the same Ben you thought was me? Lol That’s awesome to see something from the show on your farm!
Do you still use the wheel men pro gps
just awesome!
What tractor are planning to pull it with?
👑
Looks like Kuster Farms and Kuhn are getting pretty tight. Are you keeping something from us?
I like how Travis and ryans dad are wearing the same coat
Hey Ryan you're doing a really good job on your videos keeping my aren't you worried about all the stuff with the farmers with the covid-19 able to sell all your corn and beans good luck on this farming season. David from Las Vegas. :-):-):-):-):-):-)
Nice!
Did u buy the seeder
Markers behind the seed box is a great touch, they really block your view when they're in front.
Instead of to seeds we use the second box for dry frtlizer
How much years you are working on no-till?
great plains?
Is that thing build in France?
R de Kort non on a pas ces modèles en France .it s a krause
I understand this is a No-Till Drill but does that EXCLUDE it from use on a fully worked up seed bed? Would you use this or the old Deere on a conventional till field if you had one to seed? sdh
You can seed anything worked ground or straight no till
You should try drilling 15 inch beans with it!
how much ?
Excellent 👍
Very NICE
price?

Whats the price one of them
if you think 10 feet is big our little 30 foot drill must be huge. how many acres do you guys have total?
I think 10’ is small. The size of the drill for being a 10 footer is YUGE. We’re not sure how much we’re seeding yet.
How Farms Work ok I interpreted it wrong but yes it does seem big and bulky
Drill vs air seeder?
Ryan got a new toy to play with.
are you going to plant beans with it??
Hey Ryan big fan wish you could come to my best freinds farm were we run around 400 head of cattle down south in beaver dam Wisconsin
You guys should be able to get all your planting done in a couple of hours with that thing.
cant wait to see!!… how it goes!
sooo you got the upgraded wheels? ;-)
Is this just for alfalfa and oats or r u going to plant some soybeans with it to try it out?
What's the difference between a seed drill and a planter?
A seed drill is basically a controlled spill of seed, usually in narrow rows for small seed types. A planter has a mechanism to singulate and space out the seed placement, usually for wider rows and larger seed types.
I pull a Great Plains 10 foot No- till drill with a Deere 6410. I run 5 miles per hour no problems,
Ok can we talk about the lowboy driver disconnecting the whole trailer instead of dropping it?
Adam Wagner hahaha you noticed that too lol
He did it because he has a mechanical trailer instead of a hydraulic trailer
It a manual, so you have to unhook to pull the saddle pins then rehook and pull away.
a lot of farm implement haulers/ag haulers have mechanical low boys instead of full on hydraulic trailers
All it needs is a big, red bow.
crazy to think there are 950 bushel air carts on the market now
If your 4020 can pull a six row cultivar on your hills, it should easily pull that ten foot drill. Besides it will turn better on the headlands than the 7600.
Wonder if you feel like adding a 'T' to the decals in the future, if it turns out to be a pain to work with, lol.
Cool a new toy. Carl
What is the purpose of the flap on the tractor hitch?
That's for when you're baling windrows of hay. The flap keeps the hay from snagging and dragging the hay with the hitch pin
Cute little feller
New toys, new toys:)
Can you give me some tips on making videos
a lifetime away from our old 14 foot van brunt grain drill.
Super maszyna 👌👍😃👏👏👏 jaka cena w USA 🤔
Don't newer farm implements have hydraulic tongue jack? Think it would make things easier.
Those back main tires are very close together, gona be very tipsy on uneven ground when its fully raised.
Great video now that's somthing a little bit recognisable on a U.S Agri channel we run one these here in England but it's a 6' metre not 10
Obviously not this model but make and design are the same apart from hopper size also!
