So sorry to hear of Judith's passing. She has done great justice to this song, originally recorded by Mason Williams, but written by my mother, Patricia Ingalls. Although they never met, I think they would have been kindred spirits.
This is Judith's three minute autobiography straight from her heart to ours. What an incredible spirit. She has been a gift to the world. Get well Judith ! We love you.
Personally, I doubt very much if any human being born on planet Earth ever had a voice as beautiful as Judith Durham or a greater gift of song. Thank heavens we so have so many recordings of this stupendously wonderful singer to enjoy now that she’s no longer with us!.
When Judith sings she becomes a heavenly being. Something like an invisible light shines and reachs you on the soul. You dont need to actually see this light but you simply feel it. It is riveting. Thats why one gets addicted and cannot avoid watching her time after time.
Simply the most beautiful singing voice, ever!! NONE better , in my opinion.A beautiful heart and soul as well. God bless you Judith, as you have blessed your fans worldwide for fifty plus years . Thank you so very much! Tim in Texas USA
Judith left US one of the greatest LEGACIES of this world. Judith Durham is the GREATEST Australian ever. This woman deserves the highest HONOUR we can bestow upon a person. She is a TRUE ANGEL ....The GODDESS OF MUSIC.
I’ve seen your comment on every song of hers I come across. Yep, he was here! Thx for your unwavering support for Judith. I agree! Let’s get a million views for this wonderful lady.
I've loved Judith and the boys since they first took the charts by storm in the 60's. I've been lucky enough to see The Seekers several times since I first saw them in 1967 including their 50th anniversary concert at the Royal Albert Hall in 2014. I also saw Judith in her solo concert at the Festival Hall in 1971. I doubt they will ever tour again but I thank them for 50+ years of joy.
Essendon's gift to the World,, right then, and jolly good show Mates! A voice shared from the very halls a heaven itself. When Judith sings this I see sunlight dazzling through the spring dew drops on the leaves of a stand of beautiful aspen trees. It’s 52 degrees, the sky the most beautiful azure blue, the morning sun so warming, the mountain bluebird, and tree swallows flitter about, every where the scent of pines and a plethora of wild flowers, a stream so crystal pure,,,every lung-full of air a fresh gift of God.
Judith, thank for the "gift of song." You are beautiful.
Rest in peace Judith Durham! Wonderful clear voice.

I do love what Judith does with this song...pure beauty.
She sings perfectly and yet she does so without effort. Amazing!
How the world we live in needs this woman today more than ever. There should be a Nobel prize for goodness, and if there was, I know who would win it.
I could not agree more. And now the world is lost without her, but her goodness will live on forever I’m sure
