Thanks for the explanation. may I know when should we use repad on vessel ? like in what condition we should take the consideration to use it instead of letting the vessel-openings connection the way as it is without repad. are there any calculation to know the exact threshold ?

Hi, thanks for the video. I was looking for the air leak testing of reinforcement pads. But I could not find any related document from ASME Sec.VIII Div.1 or ASME V.
Could you refer any document for the leak testing of repads?

It is required to be left open never closed. The whole Will show evidence of a failure of the nozzle attachment weld.
