Still, probably worth every penny bc I've heard so many times their syrups are unmatched to other vendors'. Most others only use sugar water with artificial flavors, where here, they use real cane sugar with real fruit puree....Gotta be insanely delicious😋
Island Maid & HTK Hawaii are the 2 main suppliers of all the shave ice places in Hawaii. Sounds like they get their flavors from HTK based on their flavors like Natural Lychee. We use a combination of both companies for our events and party shave ice business.
He said cotton candy is one of their all natural flavors now tell me how you do that extract juice from cotton candy not all natural like a fruit juice thought that was pretty funny
they are sugar syrups. You can google them. Its basically concentrated flavor syrups, you buy them and mix the sugar water with them then pour them on top.

You feel the temp change on the bottom. You will know.
The weight. Eventualy it will soak down depending on the ice quality. That's how i do it ig😂🤷♂️

Yea expensive now. When I was growing up that size was 50 cents with 3 flavors. 25 cent more with ice cream.
I used to eat those things for 50 cent when growing up. 25 cents more for a scoop of ice cream inside. I put ice cream in my slushies.

Shave ice is finer than snow cones. Snow cones are crumbly and crunchy while shave ice is soft, mushy, and better. A Hawaiian delight!
