    Just give me the shaved ice. Keep the syrup.

      Exactly. None of these shaved ice people have a love or respect for snow ice by putting all that damn syrup on it. We buy snow cones mostly for the snow ..not the syrup. Everytime I asked for a little bit of syrup they never listen which makes no sense. I'm paying you for less syrup...youre saving product.

    I need a personal shaved ice machine like this in my life. I crave shaved ice and wanna eat it all day long. We have a place that sales it by the bag for $7.00, but its not enough. Its the only pace that sales it and its not open from Sept- Mar. I think, so I'm in trouble when it closes for the winter. I wanna have it on hand all the time. I wish they weren't so expensive. :-(

    My wife and I lived in Louisiana for a year we love the southern snow. I live in Pennsylvania now and I can never find a southern snow machine being used at a carnival or fair. I thinking I may have found my new business. It makes the best snow

    What temperature do you keep the ice in the freezer. hope to hear from you.

      it makes the best snowball between 0 F to +10 F if the temp is over +10 you need to change the ice.

    I have the same machine I brought from Bubby himself, but my ice doesn't come out fluffy like his. It comes out bits of crushed ice. What am I doing wrong??? I was told to let the ice block sweat a little, and another time I was told to set my deep freezer on a certain temperature which I forgot the temp number. What to do, cause I'm thinking about buying a different snowball machine from a different supplier.

      It takes practice…. I’m learning this machine. I’ve gotten better. It’s in how u use the handle

      We have been using this machine since 1986 so I speak from experience. Keep your blocks cold, blades sharp & lightly pull the handle. The harder you pull the feed handle the crunchier the ice. If a block sits in my machine for more than 15 minutes it gets rotated with a fresh block.

    How to do you make your blocks, is it better cloudy or clear?

    • @narlywaves2371
      @narlywaves2371 Рік тому

      Cloudy if you want a powder texture like pure snow. Clear will give you a more icy, crushed texture.
