- The kitchen is the most used room in our home, so when I pull out my European cottage Christmas decorations I try to keep it simple.
Today I'm excited to show you how I decorated our kitchen for Christmas this year.
Not only did I create a cottage style Christmas, I also made it easy for us to do all the Christmas activities in the kitchen without the decor getting in the way.

I completely agree. She is so selfless and always doing what she can to love and serve others. We’re not very far, but we just read the part where she meets an older gentleman who has lost 3 of his 4 sons to the war, and reading her perspective brought tears to my eyes. I hope you have a Merry Christmas and I’m praying you look more and more like Marmee while I pray it for myself ❤️

I love your decorations. How did you make the ribbon?
Thank you so much! The ribbon was made from muslin fabric. I bought 2 yards and ripped it into strips, then dyed it with rit dye. If you’re interested Target had the best price on the dye (I checked Amazon, Target, and Joann Fabrics) when I bought it, it was $3.50 for the bigger bottle.

Thanks so much!! I used a “clear suction cup hook”. I think we got ours from a store, but I just checked and Amazon has some too.
