I have a feeling the wolf clan is gonna become like the serpentine In legacy of the green ninja. They are only the main villain faction for the first half of the season or so and then it transitions to a new villain faction for the rest of the season

I think each of the Forbidden Five has a different type of Shatterspin. And one of the ninjas would have to face one of them like Lloyd, Kai, Nya, Cole, and Zane since they are the old Ninjas and there are five of them. Jay is not included for multiple reasons.

I am kinda expecting more wolf mask shadow army stuff considering what you mentioned about Rox telling Ras he barely scratched the surface of their true power and I don't think they were at full power at the end of season 2 either, and since most of Lloyd's visions have become true to some extent, we should remember that vision he had in episode 18 that the Motion source dragon broke of Lloyd being surrounded by Wolf mask shadow army members along with Arin & Zeatrix

I don't think the wolf clan will return. Who should they serve? Lord Ras is very not likely because the forbidden five are after him and Rox can easily turn his army against him and the forbidden five don't need an army as they are already too strong. Maybe we could expect something similar to what happened with Rapton and the claws of imperium with Cinder leading the wolf clan for some secondary plot but more than that I don't think will happen.
