Pricing a six-of-a-kind $1 serial number

If there are a lot of one particular digit in a serial number on a dollar bill, that can command a premium. Even more so if the similar digits are in a row!
In this video, I look through sold auctions for comparable six-of-a-kind serial numbers for a particular $1 bill. You might even have one right now in your wallet or purse!

You can search as in the video and look for bills that match what you said. You may not find any exact matches but the six-in-a-row ones will be close.

That's called a "flipper" note and yes it's valuable, nice find!

I have several 4 numbers in a row and 5 numbers in a row and even 6 numbers in a row the one that you mentioned with the 6 numbers in a row of 79555555 I have one that starts with 19555555 instead how much could that be worth is it around the same price

Hi Lynnae, thanks for the sub :) ... To check you'd follow the search I did in the video and that would tell you what similar bills will sell for. It's not an exact science but if you find a six in a row with a bill that's similar condition to yours that would be a good indicator of value! Sounds like you're building a nice collection!

Actually that's called a "super radar" bill and those are worth quite a bit. Like 58888885. The "super" part is the six identical digits in the center.

I have a $10 bill with 4's on the outside and six 2's in the middle. I thought it was a $1 bill, but it's a $10.

Bills with four different digits like 27668282 are pretty common. Did you mean something more specific? Can you give an example?
