    Part 1 is Making the Marinade & cutting the Pork.
    Hawaiian Smoked Meat Recipe for Marinade
    Ingredients
    For the marinade
    1 whole Pork butt sliced and stripped 8-10 lbs.
    1 cup brown sugar
    1 cup white sugar
    3 1/2 cups water
    4 4 cups shoyu
    2 whole heads of garlic, sliced.
    1 # ginger, sliced
    2 bunch sliced green onions.
    1 tsp Red Chili flakes
    1 Tbsp Sesame oil
    Directions:
    1. For the marinade: To a bowl add green onions, sugar, shoyu, garlic, chili flakes, sesame oil, water and ginger. Mix until well combined and set aside.
    2. For the pork: Add the sliced and stripped pork to a container. Pour in the marinade. Cover with parchment paper so it stays submerged, cover with Lid and place in the refrigerator to marinate for 24 to 48 hours. Before you Smoke the meat.
    Part 2 will be smoking it and plating
