I love this song. It really brings out the funky side of Extreme, which was part of what made their sound so great. Nuno and Extreme have always been horribly underrated & underappreciated. We fans need to unite and change that. I actually bought a copy of "Saudades" to send to my local radio station in hopes they'll play it, esp. now that a video for "Ghost" has been filmed. If I could afford it, I would send a copy of all their cds to every rock station, then call and request constantly!
Extreme posted something on MySpace saying they'd filmed a video for "Ghost". I believe it was filmed in an old church near Boston and Nuno came up with the concept and directed/produced it. No word on when to expect it, but I'd think around the time they start traversing the U.S. again next year. We need to get this album going. It's too good to be ignored anymore. We need to bump John Mayer and his ilk off the airwaves and replace them with truly incredible music! Extreme fans unite!
I love the song Ghost it's one of their best on Saudades. So they are filming a video for it? Great i think that maybe why the Cd isn't doing as well as it should. Unfortunately we are well into a Visual society to get the best exposure. Hopefully more ppl will be onboard after the video's released. I have a copy of it too great music work.
It's really tragic and an indictment on our radio stations when a band that makes such great music is more known for a boring acoustic ballad called More Than Words.
@crazy4nuno I agree! It made me ill to see who made the list of Rolling Stone magazines "Guitar God" issue a few years back. John Mayer was the main one they focused on!! I mean come on! Nuno is so much better that he could play circles around Mayer! Nuno has more funk, more technical command, more speed when necessary and more accuracy..not to mention a superior sense of rhythm, timing, note choice and phrasing. Mayer would be humbled if he cut heads w/ Nuno! i'd love to see it though..
