Victor Orban has never been a fan of Selensky and was very vocal about mistreatments of the Hungarian minority in Ukraine. If a guy like Orban goes to Kiev in order to talk Selensky, a guy he doesn´t care about, into accepting Putin´s peace offer, something really bad is brewing. It appears to me that a really big escalation from NATO´s side is on the horizon and Orban´s trip to Kiev was a last ditch effort to avoid that.
Something really big and dangerous seems about to happen and I would not be too surprised if it was in late September or in October, but in reaction to major Russian territorial gains.

There were plenty of reports that former general Zalushni coddled the brigade, keeping them out of the worst fighting and used them as anti-retreat forces.
So, pretending that they are now heroic and effective, and fighting for average Ukrainian soldiers just doesn't add up.

As long as all those military vehicles are massing on the Ukraine side of their Northern Border with Belarus, I don't see why, given they are military targets, Russia doesn't just take them all out with missiles. I don't care which side a person is on either, it's a rational, logical thing to do in a military conflict. We can see the Russians using missiles all over Ukraine on military targets, especially those that "mass", and frankly I'm surprised the Ukrainians are massing any of their military in a relatively short distance from one another.
