Euro NCAP Crash & Safety Tests of MAZDA CX-60 2022

- Euro NCAP performs a series of crash and safety tests on car models:
- a frontal impact test, 50% of the width of the car is striking an oncoming deformable barrier, also travelling at 50 km/h
- a frontal impact test, the car impacts a rigid full width barrier
- a side impact test, a mobile deformable barrier impacts the driver's door
- a pole test, the tested car is propelled sideways into a rigid pole and the robustness of the centre airbag is evaluated.
A series of pedestrian tests are conducted with different impactors, adult and child head form, lower and upper leg form and whiplash tests are performed on a sled as well as AEB pedestrian and cyclist tests.
Active safety is tested based on the car’s equipment: autonomous emergency braking car-to-car scenarios, occupant status monitoring (including seatbelt reminders), lane support and speed assistance technologies.

totally impressed with the inclusion of middle airbag and rear side airbags as standard on this model. great work masda will be buying the hybrid.

Hm, I've expected better results from Mazda taking into account the record results from Mazda 3 and CX-30.
NCAP % ratings have changed since they were tested. These scores if they were tested then would almost mark up, very impressive numbers
You should test it again after 6 months of usage. Last 2 categories would fail completely
Road Keep Assist is really dangerous on single track roads. It sometimes sees the side of the road and pulls the car towards other road users / cyclists/ pedestrians/ horses. Driving this for a few months and I have to switch this off every time I get in the car. Over zealous.

@@solderbuff what are you talking about? This vehicle in this video is an Mazda CX60 they come with a power train that is a full hybrid that has around 40-50km electric range
