Why is my qtech190 not priming or spraying.
Hi there, I'm looking for a gun that does wall paint, oil gloss and shellac. Is there one you recommend? You really know your stuff.
Hey thanks for the support. Basically any branded gun from tritech, wagner graco titan etc will all do the same. Its the feel and build that makes them different. Its all down to the tips that make the difference. With airless anyway. Hvlp would be different.
So youd just need a variety of tip sizes for each application, a smaller one for woodwork mainly and wider for walls. My main 2 are 210 and 310 for woodwork.
516 and 619 for walls are my other main two
Got a problem have that qp019 sprayer but as I'm spraying it reduces down in pressure no leaks anywhere and have new filters in the gun and on the end of suction tube? If I let off the pressure builds and can spray again ? Can you help !!
Silly question but is the filter in the gun the right way up?
Or try tightening the nut with the bar it came with
Sounds like the tips blown and machine can't keep up with it, or your using to big an orifice size, I know machines say 21tho but that's pushing it, and any slight wear on that size tip pump will not be able to keep up with it
Hi mate iv just ordered the qt190 version. Will this need piston lube applied before use and if so where do you apply?
Hey. Yes you apply it where you can see the top of the piston, theres a packing nut which has holes in it. You should be able to see where i mean hopefully. Let me know if youre still unsure

Its like nail polish remover. It evaporates fast and pretty sure you can use it to neutralise between oil and water.
I pick it up from amazon or ebay in 5L tubs. Just search acetone. Its handy to have
You could soak in warm soapy water but it wouldnt have cleaned it as fast

Yes you could add a 1/4 15m hose no problem. you could get an aftermarket on amazon or go genuine.

The Q tech p190 is a newer version, ill be doing a comparison shortly between them both and a run down on the newer model too. I think the new model has different internals but will have a look weight and specs remain the same

Thanks for watching. Yes lovely machines. Ive got the gxff which is the same pump just comes with shorter thinner hose and hopper. Quick change pumps and just over 100quid for a new one
