they made dead zones for pearls so pearls dont work in parts of trap and another room i noticed is rails. where you would pearl into a 1 tall space and stonk through to an item and essence
Mostly? Sometimes you can do walls and fences especially with tnt You can pearl onto the bottom of some blocks even with ones above it And stairs and slabs are excluded from those rules

Make a ghost pick after you throw the pearl and hold shift when you land, if thats too hard, hold shift after you throw pear til you land and are pushed partially out then make ghost pick

How do you not lose ghost pick, like when I use it after every right click for pearl or just after a few secs it's gone for me
It always loses on pearl( that’s why I don’t pearl with it, and shift right click with the original pickaxe to keep it
