that 85' SB silverado I had ....5.0 4spd stock never got better than 15 mpg...those seats are hard on the back long rides.
This one just needs a tune. I've ridden thousand of miles and they both suck after so many hours lol

I have a 16 gallon tank for my 37. But I certainly hope to do better than 14MPG. I'm running an LT1/L83 that's basically stock. It got over 20 in a 1500 and I will be weighing considerably less. Hoping to have it close to 3500/lbs
You'll have no issues hitting 20 mpg. This one will do closer to that when tuned. It's time to do that.

Great video! This is why I have a hard time moding my 81gmc 305 4speed manual, she gets 20ish mpg on a longer cruise and 17 in town, kills my 03 Silverado rcsb 5.3 for mpg

Hey Robbie. I absolutely love your content about all the Squarebody trucks. Your "Mississippi Mud" truck is BADASS !!!! But man would it look even better if you scuffed up the whole truck and clear coated it to seal up that awesome patina it has.

Thanks for watching! Really appreciate it. No clear for me. I am not a cleared patina guy. I will, however, be putting Sweet Patina Sauce on the truck for a temporary pop of color and protection. The truck lives indoors so I'm not worried about more rust or it changing too much.

I’d love to see Mississippi Mud and Uncle Buck with a coat of Patina Sauce or VGG Shine Juice. Those products will make the colors in the patina pop. And it’s not permanent. If you don’t like it , it will wear off. Sauced up or dry, either way, I’m jealous of them there trucks !!
Mud is definitely getting Patina Sauce. We have a big announcement coming with them soon! Stay tuned.

I believe those classic trucks would probably get even better gas mileage if y'all would only use Good Gas like shell, Chevron just to name a few try it you'll see a difference it fuel mileage👍
We use it all. Never matters. Mine is the only one that gets poor mileage and it's because it needs a tune. Nothing more. All the LS stuff we have gets 20 MPG or better.

Question; I don't have a C10 I have a 1989 GMC, could I still come To a show with my truck or is it strictly for C10'S?
All depends on the show. Most of the time, if it's a GM truck show, anything 1998 and earlier is welcome. If it's a show like LST, all makes and models are welcome. Really just depends.

It's a 3.42 gear et. The truck just really needs to be tuned. TTR is still around (just with him Saturday) but we live a couple of hours away from each other so not as easy to get together. That said, he just bought a Harley and is tinkering with his NBS Duramax. We've got some plans on it.
