I was able to take the three pieces of this lesson during my guided readers' lessons the day after I watched this video. You are so phenomenal! I am a 2nd grade teacher just learning how to do this, and you are a BREATH OF FRESH AIR! Thank you for being you. Thank you for making these parts of your knowledge free. You are contributing to the quality of instruction of countless. Thank you for making me a better teacher.
Thanks so much! This is amazing! Activity 1: Same or different (comparing 2 words) Activity 2: Rhyme recognition Activity 3: Rhyme production/tennis talk
Thank you! I’ve used many different resources to teach Phonics curriculum and they seem to always leave something out or not get to each skill often enough! Love yours!
Good Points. It is so important that as teachers we understand how Phonelogical Awareness and Phonemic Awareness are both strong precursors to strong reading skills and understanding. Thank you, for sharing.
Thank you for your video; the rhyming stages were so effectively explained that I definitely will be making some changes to how I handle things over here!
Hello Anna. You're videos are so thorough and very resourceful! This year I have Pre-K Early Childhood low incidence students from teaching intermediate and upper grade students! What are some great skills and lessons to teach these students?
Love this, can I say I wish all the material, could come printed, and completed like the books for purchase. Even in small parts/bundles, by week, etc. Would completely love that!
Great video again, Anne. I'm looking forward to the upcoming parts and implementing them with my class of all second language learners in second grade. I think they'll need it after last year. You might want to move where you place your microphone. You brush it several times and the scratching distracts from your commentary.
Thank you so much... I know...UGH! The microphone was hitting my table and I didn't realize it until after. I will make sure it's crystal clear for the next one :)
Thanks for spending your time making these videos! I love your cheerful demeanor! By any chance will these resources be available in Teachers Pay Teachers at some point?
Aww...thank you so much!!! You are too sweet. Unfortunately, these won't be in my TPT shop. They are only part of my Guided Readers program. You can check it out here if you would like: guidedreaders.com/
Where can I get a hand on the weekly skill sheet? I would love to have it for a guide. I am just finding this page and I love it. Awesome. I will be using my Christmas holidays to go through your videos.
Thanks for the comment, the weekly skill sheet is provided in the getting started guide on the Phomolocal Awareness page inside your Guided Readers subscription, we hope this helps, -GUIDED READERS TEAM

Love your materials but feel very disappointed that I wasted $10 on the subscription that didn't provide what I wanted when I bought it. Why is the Phonological Awareness with E.A.S.E. Curriculum only available with a year subscription? It would have been nice to know before I purchased the monthly subscription.
