u can manually do it if it doesn't want to work. u can do this by selecting the 'generals.exe' in the 'launcher' folder in the game's directory. if u are using Steam, make sure u traverse through the 'GameRanger Game Location' shortcut at least once. you'll see it in your game directory :)

Hi. I have a problem with the option "Launch the game in a window when playing via gameranger" It just doesn't turn on and Idk why. That's not the biggest problem. Problem number 1 is that i can't move across the map by moving my cursor on the corners of the screen. I'm in a full screen and it still doesn't work. If i hold the right mouse button it will move but for me it's really challenging to move by using it. Any solution for this annoying problem?

Well... it actually works but the whole game process feels a little laggy (like low FPS laggy + a liitle input delay). Was it always like that (last time i played ZH was 10+ years ago, could be a classic case of false memory i.e."EVERYTHING WAS BETTER BACK THEN!11" )?

Cool video Legionnaire, but I have a problem. Experienced this playing with my brother and when my brother's friend and him were playing. Few seconds into the game, it either times out or crashes. There were cases that the game crashed for both parties, others were timed out. We all have the Ultimate collection copy from EA play and we'd like to really play the game badly. My operating system is Windows 11 while my brother's friend and him are Windows 10. Hope you can help me with this. P.S. I'm out of options already.

no. you'll get an error saying "this serial code is already in use" whenever you try to join each other's game. you need to make sure you are either using two different EA App accounts, or two different serial numbers
sadly I got some issues getting zero hour to my game list. Zero Hour is installed on Steam. I did also install all the other stupp genpatcher etc... Anyway zero hour does not show up. firewall problem even all my firewall inbounds rule are open for udp 16000, and then turn off the windows firewall and still get the same problem

FPS should easily be above 60. You can see your FPS as the yellow number in the top left corner. (Assuming you have GenTool installed)

no. you'll get an error saying "this serial code is already in use" whenever you try to join each other's game. you need to make sure you are either using two different EA App accounts, or two different serial numbers

sadly I got some issues getting zero hour to my game list. Zero Hour is installed on Steam. I did also install all the other stupp genpatcher etc...
Anyway zero hour does not show up. I also cant add the game by selecting the .exe - file. It keeps telling me its not the right one. So anoying to do all that crap and still doesnt work...
did you fix it? Same issue with me right now
