    Thanks for the great review! We have actually redesigned the small spout cap so that it does not come off like that anymore.

    The gas cans I have are good, the only bad thing is the spout. I spill so much gas. I would like to try one of these and see how they compare to what im using now.

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess
      @LawnCareBusinessSuccess  6 років тому

      I really do like these. The articulating spout is so handy. You do have to be careful still though when filling small tanks like on trimmers to avoid spilling. Thanks for watching.

    How well does the rotary seal hold up. That would be my concern because if it does start leaking it's at the bottom so could leave a big dangerous spill.

      I’ve had this gas can for about 3 years now. It actually just started leaking this season. It leaks intermittently when filling up equipment. Never when just sitting. Just a few drips and only while the lever is depressed. I know they have replacements and I believe they addressed the issue in the design. Mine is still the original though. Thanks for watching

      Is it serviceable once it starts leaking or is it a throwaway?

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess
      @LawnCareBusinessSuccess  4 роки тому

      It is serviceable. They sell the parts for it. Thanks for watching.

    The fact that the fuel stop is at the beginning of the tube instead of the end is my only fault with the Sure Can. I like the Midwest Can and the stop in it is right at the very end of the spout. Instantly stopping the flow

    Thanks for you advice. What walk behind commercial push mower would you recommend?

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess
      @LawnCareBusinessSuccess  6 років тому

      Grassology4610 I’ve only ever used the Honda HRC-216. They are built like tanks and will last for years with everyday commercial use. My first one I used everyday for 10 years and I only replaced it because it was looking shabby. But motor and transmission were still solid. It’s now my backup mower to a new HRC-216.

    What's the flow rate through the valve when fully open? How long does it take to empty?

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess
      @LawnCareBusinessSuccess  4 роки тому

      Not sure of the flow rate but it’s quick, and no issues like some other cheaper gas cans where you have to keep stopping and to let air in. Thanks for watching.

    Oops well done ! I'm saving for a Exmark commercial 30 what are your thoughts?

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess
      @LawnCareBusinessSuccess  6 років тому

      Ive never used one so I could not tell you how it performs. The only complaint I've heard is around here it rains a lot and guys say it seems underpowered with wet grass, but like I said I've never tried it so can't say for sure. It does look very well built.

    I can easily see that plastic internal release mechanism getting brittle with age / exposure to gas & breaking while knocking around in a truck and since its propietary there wont be any fixing it with a new spout, time for another $35 can. Also looks like then spout seals at the bottom will eventually fail and start dripping and draining gas onto the floor.

      And yet after four years of use this gas can is still going strong on a daily basis in my lawn care business. Thanks for watching.

      That’s unfortunate and a bit of a hassle to have to return it. Probably just a random manufacturing problem. I’m still using the original one from this video years later. Thanks for watching.

    I’m starting a PT lawn care business this season.How Do I get giveaways to help my bussiness grow ?

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess
      @LawnCareBusinessSuccess  6 років тому

      Unfortunately “giveaways” or free products take a lot of work to get. Usually more work than the giveaway is worth. Basically build a audience of followers by giving them free value. Overtime the audience will grow. You can then start to approach companies with proposals to review products in exchange for the product. If you develop a big enough audience, companies will start to approach you with offers. I did my weekly podcast for 2 years before I emailed my first company. The most important thing is being consistent. If you say your doing a weekly podcast then make sure you put out a episode every week no excuses. Or if you tube videos or Instagram is your thing it doesn’t matter just be consistent. Set a schedule and stick to it. Remember it’s all about value. You need to give value to build a following. When you have a following, exposure to your audience becomes the value you can offer companies in exchange for product. Also think of new ways to keep giving value. Sure can sent me these gas cans over a year ago and I did a review on my podcast and I wrote a blog post review on my website after using them about a month. Fast forward and here I am one year later and still giving them value now with a long term use review video. Also giving the audience value sharing my experiences using the product over a extended period of time. It’s win win for everyone.

    Very good review...I guess repeating some of the fact over a few times does not make this a fantastic review...I do a lot of speaking and I was told of my constant facts not so good. This was good but keep the facts a single line UNLESS itis a safety issue.. Good Job.

      I purchased one for extra carry on fuel for emergency. This design will allow me to set it on the boat side rail, while filling the tank where inlet is on the side of the boat. Tried using an old fashioned can, and put me in a strain while making a little mess. This should be perfect.
