She is really good and you can see her emotions when she sings it. The only other thing that I wish is that she breaths more often when singing the song because at one point she was heavily breathing while singing and I think it would have been better without that. Just my opinion I love Melanie
+Emily Anne (LostButHappy) When singers touch their mics with their lips often means that it's their own mic but some artists don't touch their mics even if it's their own because they sing pretty loud or the sound on the mic is turned up pretty loud, so it depends pretty much on which artist it is. If they were touching a mic that weren't their own mic can cause sickness because your bacterias are all over the mic. I have learned this in my music class lol

I think she sings so close to it because on The Voice during "Hit The Road Jack" Adam told her to sing closer to it to project her voice or something..and she's taken that advice to heart. If you watch her music videos you would see/know that she really doesn't care what she looks like.
