I have a Tecsun PL-330 & I really appreciate the ETM. First thing when I get to my radios I'll run a scan to see what's going on. That's normally at 0545 CST. It's fun seeing the band conditions change through sunrise & onto the rest of the day. I had read from various sources that keeping the bandwidth on the 330 to a narrow setting is the best for ETM scanning. I also have 3 other Tecsuns, - PL-660, PL-880 & PL-310ET & 2 Sangean ATS-909X, which I really enjoy each & every one of them.
@@sfred I ended up buying a QRM Eliminator to try to deal with it (just one of those cheap ones) and seemed to work pretty good if I want to listen to a broadcast, not so good if you're scanning the bands though. ua-cam.com/video/yBgBMNqPIY4/v-deo.html

You actually can adjust the sensitivity of the ETM+ scan without resorting to narrowing the bandwidth. This also goes for the non-SSB, PL-320. 🙂
@@StratmanII How?
Looking at both of these radios. Thanks for the comparison.
? Do you mean 380 is better on AM
Best Regards
Hi, how to use etm to scan all local FM stations?
Switch to FM mode, then do the ETM scan.
@@sfred Just press the ETM button?
Hold it down, I think. @@fwfefrtefdv4719
Very very god !!! Thank youI just subscribed....for future vids on these SWL topics!!
That's the same kind of RFI I get in my home, it's highly annoying.
It's particularly bad on the 49 metre band, but much better above 7000 kHz.
