I love, love, LOVE geeky events and videos that orbit it! The outfits, experiences and everything is surreal. Yours looks great miro, definitely brings out zhongli haha.
Hej! I had forgotten to keep checking for when your video came out! I may be 4 months late to remembering but great video! And the convention was so much fun, first time I got to do cosplay too! (I finished my astolfo in time)
It looks like such a great time! Loved hearing about your experiences, too. Akira was such a huge thing for my friends and me...and so many other people I know. In the early 90s, there was an anime shop in the area, and we all definitely got hooked for a bit! Cons will always have a soft spot for me because, while I didn't meet my wife at a con, we met at an indie comic book company we discovered through the same convention. And then...ended up as guests with the company. Cons in the U.S. are all so huge, now (even the smaller regional cons). So it's great seeing a convention where people can still move around! 🤣
I was really unsure if this topic would make sense but happy that it did 😀 And it's not just cons over in the US - I think many cons are pretty cramped, like Comic Con Stockholm too. This one is really special I think! And so much fun 😊
I was a teenager during the 80's and I remember it being a weird decade, but fun. The comic con there in Sweden looks better than than the ones in America.
Yeah, I sometimes wish I could have been a little older in the 80s just to experience more of that computer boom. But yeah it really is a fun con! This one is a bit special, I think - very volunteer driven compared to commercially driven conventions.
Niceee! I'm so glad you went so we from the north can see it! I am much more into video games and cosplay from there and not so much about manga and anime. Seeing it now, it looks more for the weebs than for the hard core gamers who have thousand of hours in hundreds of games. BUT non the less , I'm sure it would have been fun. I will make sure to reserve hotels much earlier during the year, so I can have a secure spot at that time. Tack igen och vi ses! 😇 Greetings from the north! 🌲🔥🦌
Thank you! And yeah that's a good point - it really is more anime and cosplay focused. I haven't been to Dreamhack for aaages but I suspect that that might be more along the hardcore gaming lines. Some cosplay but mostly games and e-sports. Now I really feel like going there to see what it's like 😀
@@ThreeStarVagabond Riiiight, we have Dreamhacks in Sweden! I forget where I live, even tho I technically live 3 countries away from Jönköping... YES, please go to the one in November and make a video for the gaming nerds. Would appreciate it a lot!😉😎
Great content my dude... i did a project in elementary school i found about Sweden... that project was embarassing as every Swedish thing i talked about was 'Swiss'. Like... Swiss cheese, Swiss watches, etc... i know the info is true... but i used Swiss so often it seems absurd... i dunno... i ramble. Thx for your honest insight. Best wishes from Ottawa, Canada. ❤
Åh, det är bara kul om folk säger hej! Jag känner mig bara lite dum när jag går runt och pratar med mig själv och gör omtagningar när jag säger fel - så det är alltid kul att bli avbruten :D Men ja det var verkligen superroligt där!
@@Joe-eg7ml There should be plenty of shows and events and nightlife, as well as places like Universeum. Oh, and there might be Halloween at Liseberg too!

@@ThreeStarVagabond yes! there is a similar convention that occurs every year in the city next to my home ^-^
