I did a book review of the $12,000 SUMO-sized Murals of Tibet and it is a must to get a companion book because the big book doesn't have that much text, but it has an astonishing and intricate masterpieces in blazing color and life-size resolution. Thanks for showing the companion book.
Weirdly, I've never seen this video on your channel.....and I come here fairly often.......however, this book looks amazing ( I, too own both books and statuary/ jewelry from Tibet/Nepal) and your presentation/ ambient music choice was simply sublime. Taschen books are outstanding.
I appreciate the amount of production that goes in to your videos. It's clear you make an effort towards presentation. As a suggestion - I feel like your videos would benefit from a good camera stabiliser. Keep up the good work

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for it? And how did you get it? I checked Taschen website and they don't have this version. The only one they offer is the Sumo Artbook which is $12,000!

Taschen has been knocking it out of the park for a very long time. It doesn't seem to matter what they publish, it's always worthwhile and beautiful.

I have asked Taschen about this and they don’t plan to make a smaller, affordable version, sadly! Hopefully they will change their minds!
