- How to program 2020 Audi A4 garage door opener. Programing the garage door opener on the 2020 Audi A4 is quite different than previous model years, as it does not have the physical garage door buttons. This same procedure may help to program the garage door opener for other Audi models too. I'm demonstrating programming the garage door opener using the 2020 Audi A4 Premium model. Prior to programming your Audi's garage door opener, be sure that you have a functional garage door opener and are in front of your garage. Programming the garage door opener on my 2020 Audi A4 was a much more streamlined process than programming the garage door opener on my 2018 Audi A3 was. #Audi #Howto

So after the programming, how do you open the garage door? Is there a shortcut or you always have click on garage door opener on the screen?
Have to click the little garage door icon on the screen. It's definitely not the best UI =(

I have bot found a physical garage door button in my 2020 Audi A4. To make it easier, just swipe down from the top of the screen to make the garage door opener icon appear.
@@IrixGuy I did the setup for some elderly neighbors thanks for the video, but I wish there was a physical button to make it easier for them
@@mangopina68 Yeah, a physical button would be nice! It's not immediately obvious to swipe down from the top of the screen to reveal the Audi garage door icon. I love Audi but Audi should improve their interface. An always present garage door button(s) towards the side would be a welcomed improvement! #Audi

I have Q5 too but not having a physical button is bad, can't close the garage while reversing from driveway without turning off the camera.

You can program the asterisk button that looks like this (*)on your steering wheel to do it.

@@bedbath9056 Prestige probably has the button to turn on the heated steering wheel whereas the lower trims have the asterisk in that spot which allows you to set it as a button of your choice. I’m afraid you’ll have continue using the display screen.
