I traveled to Iran and thought the people were so extremely hospitable. Then in the last few years, while studying in two different countries and traveling a lot, I kept meeting Iranians outside of Iran. And I realized that Iranians are not only incredibly hospitable in their own country, but also extremely nice and warm people in general. I love Iranians. You are such a social light Zoey, god bless you!

Iranian people have a proverb saying a guest is God's gift or friend. Iranians in general are hospitable , having said that I have to add that in recent years I have noticed that people are getting upset easily and are not so welcoming as before , due to harsh economic situation prevailing in Iran at the moment .

I've been studying Farsi for almost a year now. It's one of the most beautiful languages I've ever heard. I wish we Americans were more open to Iran and its people. The people and language of Iran are amazing.

I have never been to Iran but I so want to go, my parents nearly moved us there (me and my siblings) permanently!

I'm currently learning Chinese and Russian which are both fairly high on the difficulty scale but watching your videos have kept me going. It helps to get reminded that even though the process is tedious, it's all worth it because it opens doors to so many opportunities such as making friends and I love it! Thank you very much for what you do and hope you have a lovely rest of your stay in Tehran.
I am studying Russian and it is tough, specially the grammar. Can't imagine also learning Chinese.

I have a hankering for Persian food. Thankfully I will be in San Francisco soon. There is a very good Persian restaurant there. I do miss the chicken and rice from my Iranian friend’s grandmother. She was my middle school best friend.

I was in Tehran at the same time as you :) but I stayed for one week only :) it was really hot but I liked Tehran, I will definitely go back again to visit Shiraz, Isfahan and Mashhad
