MANY THANKS for posting! I used my new ipad with the Onsong and my Beatbuddy for the first time today at church. It’s so nice and easy that I don’t have to bend to switch songs on the Beatbuddy and keep the keys music flowing between songs. God bless.

Thank you very much for this. I am using BB and Onsong and just learning how to do it with MIDI. I was wondering if someone has ever tried to also add TC Helicon Voicelive 3 to these links. My objective would be to have Onsong control the percussion (BB) and also the harmony & guitar settings on Voicelive 3? Stay safe.

    Nice one mate.
When selecting the program changes, bright grand piano etc, simply hit edit, and you can overwrite those standard names replacing them with the names you’ve got in the beatbuddy, Will save you a lot of time in selecting programs without having to think about PC numbers.

Hey, I followed your steps and It work so well. Truly easy to follow steps. One question, your technique is for One folder (top folder). What if I have several folders? How do I tell BB to move to 2nd or 3rd folder? Thanks mate

Hello, I really in joy your videos. I use Onsong with my Beatbuddy a little different. I creat a set list in Onsong and it sends the info to the Beatbuddy. With each song that I enter into Onsong I program what style and drum set to be played on the Beatbuddy. This way what ever song I pick in Onsong my Beatbuddy will change accordingly. I enter the midi information in Onsong by pressing down on the title of the song and then the midi events opens. It can be confusing entering this information the first few times. Thank you for all you do, God bless.

Hey Paul! Thanks for taking the time to respond to my video! it would be great if you can maybe share some print screens of how you set up your setlist. Maybe there are more subscribers that will be interested in seeing that. Thanks for the positive feedback and i am glad that you enjoy my content! Be blessed!

It’s obvious that I need a tutor for the onsong/BeatBuddy merger.

Good information, but I find you move a little too fast through the steps and I can't tell where your going, especially when you talk about settings in OnSong. Thanks.

Any idea of any of this can be done with Planning Center Music Stand, too? I know they have Ableton Link, what about MIDI?

For those songs you listed, do you have all parts of the song programmed, or are you just setting the BPM and 4/4 time, etc.?

    Hi. Really appreciate your video.
Question: Can I change the tempo of a song and save it & will onsong recognize the change. Thanks

Hi Jerry, if you change the tempo in BB Manager then sync project then onsong will pick up the new tempo of the song. Hope it helps :)

Thanks for taking time to post. What if I use Aeros looper with beatbuddy? Won’t that mess up connection to my iPad? Thx again

Love you BB Vids: So basically the OnSong just sends an 'advance' or 'back' signal and as long as you know you're starting from the top-most folder and song they should stay in lock-step?

Tim Eggenberger hi tim, thx for the view and comment! Yes that is exactly how i used it. I dont use it anymore to be honest, i do a lot of medleys, so i only use one track for 2 songs and then i swipe over to next song after I have started the second one already. So if i swipe it should start over....anyway..thx for checking out my channel. If you want to see livestreams of our church using it every sunday check out facebook.com/dgk.tcc
