Happy Thursday Carly! I bought a brand new car 2 1/2 years ago before I discovered this community, now I wish I’d have been more frugal and kept my old car and driven it until I could no more! The savings I could do with all that extra $$ is not worth having a new car!! 😏
Happy Thirsty Thursday Carly! My 2018 vehicle should be paid off in March!!! And that will be 5 months early!🎉🎉 Honestly, before I started budgeting last year, I didn't think I'd be able to do that. I'm so excited about not having a car payment again.😊😊 But definitely on the same page, driving that vehicle until it gives out on me.
Happy Thursday Carly! We also have an older vehicle its 2003 with more than 300k miles. It has its kinks just to get it started, but we also want to use it until the wheels fall out. ❤
I have a paid off car and I am going to drive it till the wheels fall off. We have one that is financed because we had to buy a wheelchair accessible van and then much more expensive with all the extra equipment and is new to us. Happy Thirsty Thursday.
Hi Carly! Girl I have a 2009 Acura that has about 200+k miles on it. But it’s paid off, still running and I love it😁. Greatful that it hasn’t gave me any issues. Happy Thirst Thursday!🎉
We have an older vehicle and a newer one. Just one payment. I'm not sure we will do when the older one dies, but we could go down to one vehicle if we had to. Hopefully, it doesn't for a while! Happy Thursday!
Happy Thirsty Thursday! I usually lease but after starting this journey two years ago - I bought out my lease so I'll be driving it until it can't drive anymore 😂
Happy Thirsty Thursday! Actually caught it on a Thursday for once 🎉 We used to lease a (new from the factory) car through my employer before, so for €100/month we got to drive as much as we wanted or needed even privately. They also convered all the gas costs, insurance, full maintenance, tag renewal etc. When the lease finished after 5 years we could buy it for a reduced price when knowing all it's history and not having to pay for the depreciation. In total with the lease costs and the purchase price we got the car for €14k. Just like your we're going to drive it untre it costs too much maintain it.
Happy Thursday Carly! I have a 2015 car and by June of this year my car will be paid off. Mine has 120,000 miles but I intend to drive it until the wheels fall off also.
❤ Hello Carly! ❤ Nice job again on your Thirsty Thursday savings! .... I'm with you regarding planning to drive my car until the repairs are too costly. My car is a 2017 and I love not having a car payment. 😂❤
Happy Thursday!!! 🎉 I got a bigger suv last year after we outgrew my small Toyota Corolla. Really regret starting over with a new loan and higher rates but hoping to pay it off before my term.
Hi friend 💚happy thirsty Thursday 💚 I paid of my 2015 Chrysler 200 last year and I’m happy to not be paying on one, but I definitely need to get to saving for the future because it’s totally going to happen eventually.
I have a lincoln mks 2013 with 157,000 miles. I'll drive it until she drops😊 my husband has a 2012 Azera, same thing. We have a 2013 convertible mustang with 22,000 miles for fun. Live your Thirsty Thursday video😊
I paid my car off a couple of years ago and decided to keep her until I die or she does, it was a running trend at work for people to trade their car in every couple of years. I don’t know why I did it, other than I didn’t really like my car. But I love my girl now.
I have a 2011 Nissan Rogue, 192k on it. It's been paid off since 2015 or 2016. I think now that I'm retired (ish), I won't replace my car if it dies and use my husband's 2015 truck. He works part-time so it'll be a little inconvenient and we live in the country but I think it'll be ok. I did just do "all the maintenance things", so hoping it lasts a good long while yet.
Happy Thursday! My car is recently paid off and I am going to drive it until I can’t anymore. 😂
I refuse to ever have a car payment lol
