Fantastic job Justin! Fascinating as always.
Thanks Willem!
Fantastic job Justin!
Thanks!
Good job man....thank you very much
Very good tutorial. Like it very much.
Thanks George!
I failed many times and didn’t notice that I made a mistake using the shortcut “G” .. which makes components not groups .. Thanks a lot for the great and amazing tutorials 👌🏼
Glad you figured it out!
awesome, thanks!
Glad you liked it!
Thank you
when i download flowify it keeps saying unassigned even though i changed the setting to allow it to be downloaded.
It would be pretty cool to get a video from yourself on how you use sketchup in an estimating environment. Do you use any external plugins?, do you name your components and use the reporting functions?
THANKSSS SOOO MUCHHHHHHH
Hey man ! Thanks for the video,
do you know whats can be the solution to "Input Error" ?
I mean i'm trying the flowify but its says to me than i have not enough input
What does it mean ?
great as always ;)
Thank you :)
Does it work when we have openings in the surface like a cut open in the surface with four corners ?
Don't know - probably not in the way you've described unless you can get that to be a 4 cornered target shape
@@Thesketchupessentials Your reply is helpful. Will try doing that way. Thanks😊
when i'll do the last part which is to flowify, all of the objects weren't visible as somehow crashes, why? :'(
This isn't really a clear question...
@@Thesketchupessentials somehow it loads then all I can see were the axes and no flowified object. But's it's okay now after I restart my pc. anyway, thank you for your videos! God bless!
how did you enter x15?
yeah, but what is the solution if the complex face has more than 4 corners? You say it like it's a mistake having more than that, but my design actually has at least 26 corners, and I need to make a 3d mesh out of it
hope you see this comment soon, so you can help me. (it's for my thesis project and I'm almost in the final week now)
Well, I actually made it work with the Drape and JointPushPull tool. Thanks for another video of yours! You're great, you've actually helped me a lot with all your videos in the last years!!
Glad you figured something out. If your target shape doesn't have 4 corners, you could either try to break it up into an object with 4 corners, or try a different tool, like you did
before Sketchup quit using Google Maps I copied terrain into several models. I pieced different terrains together into one larger map. Is there a way to use Flowify to cover a map consisting of several different terrains with one face?
excuse me ! why my Flowify error (INPUT ERROR: Not enough Input) ?
yes how can ı fix ?
Me2 🥲
I don't use any extensions, I figure it will force me to learn the program first. I'm about to let up a little on that policy however, some extensions make too much sense. Terrific, intuitive explanations as usual. You work too hard.
I'd recommend using the extensions - I actually held off on trying them for a while on this channel, but then I realized just how much easier they could make modeling in SketchUp - why make everything harder than you need to? Thanks!
I felt that way at first, too - but have come to realize that the Extensions are NOT 'cheats'. They are more like patches; better ways to do common tasks more efficiently - developed by people who probably lost a lot of time trying to do these same things 'organically' in SU - and had the skill set to develop a better way to accomplish the same task. Things that I spent hours and hours on for a mediocre result can be done (with superior results) in literally a few minutes in many cases.
Part of being proficient in SU is to understand and use the Extensions as a part of your extended toolbox, IMO
Happy learning - and good luck!
Could you please provide the Chinese version of the tutorial
Sorry, I don't speak Chinese, so I'm not even sure how I'd provide that...
LOL
