- In this episode, we made our way to camp a few nights in Sequoia, CA. There was a thunderstorm on our drive up to the national park and when we arrived, it was pouring heavy rain. Camping out here was an amazing experience as the river was right next to our camp. We enjoyed the rain pouring down on our spacious Kodiak Canvas tent with our Snow Peak camping gear. fwiw, be sure to guyline the exterior stovepipe so it can’t pivot. without it, some wind or just gravity might knock it/pivot it down and into your tent. At best, burning holes in your tent or far worse. there are attachment points for the guylines on the top piece spark arrestor. good luck and be safe.👍
This was again another great video. Thank you very much. Your tent and the inside set up was awesome. Ellie seemed to enjoy lounging that’s a good thing. Camping can bring an inner peace and relaxation which is an amazing feeling. Btw the food looked oh so delicious as well. Glad I subscribed awhile ago. As I understand it, Kodiak discourages using a stove jack + stove in a Flexbow tent. Have you found any significant issues with using a wood stove in the tent aside from the somewhat awkward placement of the stove jack?

Did you cut out the stove jack port yourself? If so, was it difficult to modify? I know Kodiak doesnt make these tents with stove jacks...
Hey! Yeah we installed the flashing kit ourselves. It’s easier if you have another person to help.
