Just bought this tent today, and was having second thoughts worried it would be too small, but your vid has made me very excited to use it! Beautifully shot! And so nice and calm compared to my camping experience with kids!

Holy cow, you must be one of them city boy campers. 3/4 of the crap you brought with you can be left behind, ESPECIALLY those f'ing lights!! You're ruining the dark sky experience for your camping neighbors. Glass bottles and glass drink-wear? Seriously? And your brand new boots have me laughing hysterically. The only thing you missed were Buddhist prayer flags hanging from your tent.

I'm not a big fan of desert camping. But Jumbo Rocks is an amazing campground! And watching the galaxy on a new moon night is mind blowing.

The tent shown in your video I believe is the VX version due to the very nice triangle shaped side windows. And I think it's about $100 more than what you link. Yes?

Hi guys. I'm really curious about how you got on using a burner on your stacking shelf container. Just looking at the dimensions online and they shouldn't fit. I'm wondering if I can use a burner and a bamboo IGT insert and create a little cooking setup on the container.

As I understand it, Kodiak discourages using a stove jack + stove in a Flexbow tent. Have you found any significant issues with using a wood stove in the tent aside from the somewhat awkward placement of the stove jack?

Summertime in Joshua Tree is the worst. Insane heat and bugs galore. Im also not a fan of the desert scenery. But im glad you guys had a good time in the winter lol

Lived in Yucca Valley for about 12 years. Spent many a weekend, week, and a few months camping all over JT. NEVER saw any need to bring a semi-trailer load of crap with me as you did. Simple walk in, walk out camping. Next to zero signs of your presence.

Omg I have this kodiak tent...it's pricey...it's heavy...and worth every penny. Have the 10x14 for the 4 of us and there's so much room. We absolutely love it! Went camping last week and poured for 1 night straight. No drips and stood up well. During major heavy downpour, lightning and thunder, we only had a mild mist coming through (only during the major downpour). I highly, highly recommend this tent.
